Progresso Gluten Free Homestyle Chicken Soup, 14 oz. (Pack of 8)

This is a god chicken soup. The chicken pieces are quality and taste much better than other brands. It is a bit oily. Fast to heat up, good when feeling sick or want a quick cozy meal.

There is nothing to add to this delicious and healthy (by many standards) soup. However, I have added a micro-baked Idaho or red potato cut in squares and while the soup keeps tasting the same, the soup adds a nice taste to the potatoes.While I can have it any time, it is convenient when I come home tired and just heat up the soup with the added baked potato.

Five stars because it had no junk in it. I love that about it, I’m not really a canned soup kind of person, but I used it in recipes and I added my own seasoning. They were fine. The potatoes were a little bit undercooked, but I couldn’t understand why being in a can Just have to warm them up enough that the potatoes get a little softer otherwise she was pretty decent

love love love the flavor of this stuff. don’t get me started about the hater’s. it’s the only flavor of soup i get from progresso, way to expensive in the brick and mortar. i found an excellent price from a vendor on this site and ordered 2 cases. at first it was going to be a couple months to receive delivery, but im a patient man and i was willing to wait. 1) to see if i’d truly ever receive the product, and 2) for the price: play the game!then i received notice of delivery in 2 weeks! now we’re talking. then the two cases came to my door! they were taped together, probably to guarantee that what happens to one case will surly happen to the other, s m a r t, lol. because guess what, three of the cans were pierced and leaking all over the two cases. there was such a mess i couldn’t tell where the culprit cans were in the mix until i got them inside ( and it smelled bad! it’s B.C.B. for goodness sake ) and washed them off and i could set aside the three cans in question. i was still to far in the happy zone that i received them at all. i figured this has to be simple and called up right away and asked CS to credit me the three cans and i’m good to go. mister Bot was super kind and issued that credit right away. with that all done i started dreaming of the times when i’ll grab a can from its reserved spot in the soup cabinet and begin to add fresh veggies, rice, fully cooked chicken, more bacon, fresh broccoli, basic spices, heat it all up on the stove then pour it in a real big FW bowl were i’ll put much more cheese, because cheese is life. cover it up so the cheese will melt and serve this inspired very hearty soup with avocado slices and sour cream and any cracker of your choosing…….……BAM…… mikedrop!!!!!!!!

This split pea soup is delicious. It is often difficult to find at my local grocery stores so I order it through Amazon. It’s worked perfectly until this most recent order.When I received the two cans of Progresso split pea soup this time the cans were severely damaged. The packer forgot to put packing between the cans. I am afraid to eat these soups as I’ve heard dented cans can taint the soups inside.I would have given 5 stars for the delicious soup but lowered the rating to 3 stars because of the damaged cans. Sorry
