FitFlop Women's Superbendy Ballerina Ballet Flat

I purchased a dozen different shoe styles (both closed and open toe; athletic and non-athletic) in search of a comfortable and stylish walking shoe for an upcoming Europe trip. I wanted a versatile walking shoe that could be worn day after day with casual and dressy attire and a shoe that would fare well in multiple climates (hot and dry, wet and cold). While I preferred a closed toe walking shoe that would give my feet more protection from city dirt and grime, I also wanted to be prepared in case my ankles and feet swelled up. After considering styles from Naot, Vionic, Teva, Fly London, Crocs, Sketchers, Vince, Converse, and Superga, I selected this FitFlop ballet wedge in the taupe snakeskin print in my regular women’s street shoe size 7. After 63 miles of all-day walking through England, France, and Germany, I can wholeheartedly say that this was the right choice!Pros:-comfortable out-of-the-box, requiring no break-in time-closed-toe for added protection-breathable in very hot weather-although not categorized as a waterproof shoe, I wore these in London rainstorms and my feet stayed dry-wedge heel adds style and goes well with dresses, as well as pants, jeans, shorts, etc.-generous width: it runs a bit wider in the toe box and shoe sides so I wouldn’t recommend these for narrow feet (unless you add some sort of shoe insert). I have an average/average+ wide foot and these felt comfortably roomy (but not loose), which is what I wanted in a travel walking shoe, to accommodate tired or swollen feet.-taupe snakeskin print goes with all colors and matches every outfitCons:-generous width may be too wide for narrower feet and gape at the sides-doesn’t have a rugged or anti-slip shoe bottom (while I didn’t find these to be slippery when wet, I wish these had under soles like Sketchers Microburst for added traction)-Not as easy to find as other brands-Limited number of color styles/patternsOne more note: I am a consistent women’s shoe size 7, but I ordered both a 6.5 and 7 for comparison. The width of the 6.5 was perfect (roomy but not loose) and fit slightly better than the width of the 7, which was a tad wider. The length of the 6.5 seemed fine, too, but because this was my first FitFlop ballet wedge shoe purchase, I decided to go with the size 7 in case the toe bed didn’t have much give/stretch. In hindsight, I should have purchased the 6.5 because this shoe is flexible and has sufficient give. Customer reviews seem to recommend sizing down a half size and I would agree.

Cute shoes- dress up or down. Be aware though that you need to buy a full size smaller than your usual. I'm a pretty consistent 7, but in this brand the 6 fits with plenty of room- I have 2 pairs and they're both size 6. Great to wear all day with no pinch or pain. Love these. Worth the extra money. The gold color is pretty bright-will be fun in the warmer weather... the pewter in another style is more subtle. Those are my favorite.

Super cute & comfy shoe but runs large. I normally wear a 9.5 or 10 but the 10 felt like an 11. Ordered a 9, so I will see how it fits. I did NOT like the way the seller charges different prices for different shoe sizes: i.e. the size 10 was $35, the 9 was $59 and the 8.5 was $100! That seems unfair & dishonest to me.

I love this Superbendy Ballerina FitFlop shoe model and have purchased eight to date (in addition to other FitFlops I own). FitFlop runs large as a brand. I normally wear US11, or EU42. In this brand I buy US10, which is also listed as EU42 on their shoeboxes. I would therefore say they are true to their European sizing, but not their US sizing. I wear this shoe model without socks for hours directly out of box, without time needed to break them in, with my feet being on a wider, flat side, with a narrow heel. The shoes are VERY comfortable and supportive. I plan on buying more...

I love fit flop shoes generally and have at least 10 pair. These are gorgeous but I had to return them because they were tight in the toes box and just a little short. I ordered a size 7 which is what I usually wear in the fit flop brand but these were just too snug!

I ordered my size, knowing they’d be a bit loose. I use fluffy sheepskin insoles in them—with the insoles, they are snug and super comfy. I feel like I could walk all day in them. The gold metallic leather is softly shimmery. I wear these as a fun alternative to wearing brown/tan shoes.

Excellent quality shoe but it was a bit big. I am usually a 6 but this 6 seems more like 6.5. I'll be ordering this in another size but the shoe is gorgeous and sooooooo comfortable!

La couleur annoncée était '' SILVER '' mais c'est du GOLD que j'ai reçu, comme sur la photo du site.En principe je chausse un 38 1/2 et chez Fitflop je prenais souvent du 39 pour les ballerines.Là, le modèle taille très large alors que j'ai plutôt un pied normal.Donc modèle à fuir si vous avez les pieds fins.J'ai plus d'un centimètre de trop en longueur et encore plus en largeur.(J'ai eu le même problème avec des sneakers en cuir blanc de la marque dernièrement où j'ai fini par commander du 37 que je peux porter avec des chaussettes épaisses.)Difficile de bien choisir sa pointure sur internet.Comme il n'y a aucun élastique sur le contour, je ne peux pas porter ce modèle même avec des semelles, je les perds en 2 pas.Dommage car ce modèle est noté sur l'étiquette comme étant en cuir dessus et à l'intérieur.Donc elles seront parfaites si vous avez les pieds forts ou larges.La qualité semble être au rendez-vous, bonnes finitions, dommage... Je vais devoir retourner ces Fitflop.

Do not fit properly. Would like to return.

Beautifully comfortable, very soft and cushioned underfoot. Look good. Husband likes them.
