Was looking for cameras to provide video protection for front and rear of house. The good reviews of these i Geek cameras led me to buying a twin camera pack (for a very good price!). Cameras arrived very quickly and on opening the box I was not disappointed. The cameras are are heavy and well built and certainly seem good quality. Pack comes with ball joint mounting brackets and wall fixings included. Instructions are pretty well written and easy to follow. I had both cameras up and running in 5 minutes after downloading the app from the i Geek website. Once installed I spent a few minutes looking through the options and settings to familiarise myself with the operation and features of the camera. I would recommend anyone purchasing these cameras to do the same as there are quite a few options available. The cameras were set up to my WiFi network and checked for WiFi connection in the intended location for mounting. Using the app you can monitor the signal strength and indeed the live video stream - great for ensuring you have a reliable connection from the camera. After confirming connection working all that was needed was to fix the cameras in their final position and final settings for motion detection etc. The cameras are working well and motion detection is excellent. I have logged into the cameras from my phone from areas well away from home and had no problem with live streams or controlling the cameras remotely.i Geek customer service is excellent with prompt answers to questions not related to camera operation. I have also had emails from them asking if all is well and do i need assistance - I find this reassuring there is a company checking all is well and replying to questions.

Connected to Cloudedge App ok, you have to use the camera to scan a QR code off your phones screen.WiFi pretty good..works into the garden but have got it as a 1st floor hallway/door cameraHaving a PIR sensor built in, it's ready to go.You can also set up a motion mask through the app to ignore things like trees, car movement etc.The main issue with the app is you can't download footage directly, but have to press record and it saves the video that is currently playing on screen.This isn't a problem if it's only to be used to view on, you could take the SD card out and use a PC to access the footage.I have the solar panel plugged in and sat gathering outside light.. despite me logging in and viewing recordings the battery has stayed at the same level for a week, so is looking promising considering it's still not very sunny.You cant do continuous recording but that is the same with most battery cameras.Not bad for £50.Definitely better than done other 1080HD camera but don't expect to zoom in and see numberplate or faces from a distance.

Purchased this security camera as we were getting hounded by kids throwing objects over our garden wall, they've damaged our back door.We didn't know anything about security cameras and seen the ieGeek security camera on Amazon, it had a good description of how it works and how to install plus it could be purchased for a reasonable price.It was delivered the day after on time and packaged well.We unpacked it and bear in mind we are absolutely rubbish with technology, we had it set up and installed within a couple of hours.We have had it set up for just over a week now and it doing its job perfectly. The picture quality is good, you would be able to see face detail if needed. We didn't have to change the motion detector setting as it worked great as soon as we set it up, it even caught the neighbours cat jumping on the shed roof. We've got it set up so it only detects movement in the garden and if you stand by our wall, no further.It is a good feature that you can delete activity off the app if it is not needed so you are not using lots of storage.It is working as a deterrent aswell because upto now (fingers crossed) we haven't had anymore objects thrown over the wall. Overall we are very pleased with our purchase of the ieGeek security camera.Thank you 😊

Good camera we have 3 used as security cameras on our house, the app is easy to use and the picture quality is clear. You do have to play around with the motion detection sensitivity sensitivity bit to get it right but cannot complain. We were able to recieve alerts and check recorded footage whilst abroad which was great. Great customer service.

Had this looking over our driveway and front door for almost 2 1/2 years now. Been great. Kept tabs on home and used the intercom from all over the world in that time. WiFi or mobile data roaming.Sadly, the cold this winter has killed the internal battery and it won't hold charge for than a week or 2, it was originally lasting for 3 months or so.Might just buy a new one for £40. Not bad for 2 years service.

I bought 2 of these to keep an eye on my box post beside my gate as my post was going missing! they arrived quickly and set up was easy - the picture/sound quality is good if the subject is close 2-3m away. it takes a few attempts to get the setting correct - particularly for moving objects and sometimes it misses capturing the actual event - so you might see the post van leaving but not arriving. live action takes about 10-20 seconds to load on the app so sometimes you have often missed the event by the time the picture renders. battery life is easily 3 weeks as long as the camera is placed within 5 or 6m of the router anything further and it struggles to maintain the signal at all and the battery lasts <24 hours. the solar panel charging cable seems to come out of the back when it feels like it so I just bring the camera into the house and charge overnight as needed. the app is really very user friendly. couldn't get the sd card to be acknowledged so gave up. one camera gave up after a few weeks but customer service was exceptional and replaced it swiftly.
