This isn’t going to read like a 5-star review, but I think the product deserves that rating. I have slightly wavy thin white guy hair and have used this product for at least 5 years.After showering, I take a very small amount and rub it between my hands vigorously to heat it up and then run my hands through my hair. This product has given me the ability to shape my hair and have it hold throughout the day.As I’ve gotten older, I’ve experienced hair loss and general thinning. Even with running my hands together to heat up this product and applying it while my hair is wet, I still end up with more friction and pulling than my hair can handle.If genetics were different, I’d stick with this because it’s so good, but I’ve regretfully had to move on.

I accidentally picked up this one after loving their Quicksand, which was a total win for me. This product’s hold is just as impressive—seriously, it keeps my style locked in all day, right up there with Quicksand. The only hiccup is that it’s a bit tricky to apply. It’s pretty solid out of the jar, and melting it down takes some effort, so it’s not as easy to work into my hair. Still, once it’s in, the results are great!

I dont use it every day, since most of the products I own are for curly hair and they dont mix well, but when I wake up and my hair is a mess and I dont have enough time to actually do it, this saves me, it holds, its lightweight, and you have so much that If your using it all in one month your using it wrong. This product is great, works awesome, would buy again, worth the price!

If you're fighting that awkward hair growth stage like me, or just need a strong hold product that doesn't look like you've dunked your head in grease, this clay is definitely worth trying. It's helped me look slightly less ridiculous during this transition, and for that, I'm grateful! It gets the job done without screaming "I'm wearing hair product!"

The first time I purchased over a year ago, it had a slightly grainy/dry texture with an earthy smell. It had a good hold, very matte, and liked the mild smell. Once I ran out I decided to purchase it again, but now the texture is much creamier and it smells like beeswax which I hate. This is also not as matte as it used to be, which is one of the main reasons I purchased it in the past. The hold still works well, but due the smell and inferior matte, I will not be purchasing this again. Not sure if I had a bad batch, but it is now too late to return it so I am still trying to decide throwing it out for a better product.
