Emart Umbrella Lighting Kit for Photography, 1000w, 5500k Daylight Umbrella Continuous Lighting, Professional Lighting for Video

My wife works from home selling makeup and I'm an extremely amateur photographer. I ordered the EMART Umbrella Lighting Kit to help us both and it has absolutely delivered.The bulbs, which came with the kit, are very bright. The two white umbrellas, used for diffusing light, and the black umbrellas, used to reflect light, are great quality and tighten into the stands snuggly. The light stands are excellent; Easy to adjust, light weight, and sturdy.Some reviews have negative comments about the sturdiness. If you open the legs and stop when they are at their widest and dont continue opening them, you wont have any issues with stability.Value for the money is excellent, as is the quality. Delivery was as promised and everything was packed securely. I don't have any reservations about recomending the EMart Umbrella Lighting Kit.

I'm really happy with this product. This is my second time purchasing from Emart, and both transactions and shipping went great.I like this lighting set up better than the other one I bought with the softboxes, just because this was so easy to set up. It was pretty much ready to go out of the box. I like that the that the 3 pronged feet can be set wider for a sturdier set up, or set close to the pole to save space. The light is way brighter than I imagined it would be. The only downside I could find with this product, is that the lightbulb gives off a light with a blue cast to it, instead of a daylight cast. It will still work great for me though.

Great quality

Decent quality for the price. Personally I use them for fill lights when recording video. But could use them for photography too if you are looking for constant fill lighting. Or just soft lighting while using a flash.

Good starting light kit. The bulbs are very bright and work well. The stands are cheaply made so be careful. They’re thin and a bit wobbly making them easy to tip over and fall.The packaging was mostly nice. One of the umbrellas poked through a box with a lighting fixture. Coincidentally, that fixture didn’t work. I contacted the seller, sent them a picture of the defective unit, and they promptly replaced it for free. I didn’t even ship back the old one or pay for shipping.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought the 2-light set. I am really pleased so far. I have set up a simple home studio for making YouTube videos and Facebook videos. It's portable. I store everything in a closet. It takes me about 20 minutes to set up the lights, the backdrop sheet/stands, the camera/tripod, and a sound board/studio mic/digital recorder.Likewise it takes about 20 minutes to put everything away.I like the power of the lights. I use the white umbrellas. I do wish I had bought the 3 light kit which includes the gold umbrellas, though. But I didn't.Note: I am using a low-end Canon Vixia HF800 camera (I think). It took some experimentation to get the best picture. I will say that if you put the camera on full "auto" you do *not* get the best picture. It takes some more fussing around. I mention that here because it is directly related to the lights. Now that I've experimented with various non-auto settings on the camera, I can get the exposure and color that I want, and this is important.Note these lights do *not* actually result in the same video results as daylight. Nothing is as good as daylight. I don't care about what the lights are rated, i.e. 5500 K. who cares? Bottom line, it looks fine once you tweak your camera settings.I've attached a short clip from a longer video this review so that you can see what these lights do for me. Again, this also required me to tweak the camera settings (white balance, aperture, shutter speed) from the default "Auto" mode. But I did not use software or some other tool so as to alter the lighting in this video.

We are a small company. We needed good photos of our products. The Light kit was perfect to give me great, bright shots. Easy to assemble, so I can put it away when not needed. I am using it for the first time. don't know about durability, but it looks well made for sure. Worth every penny already !

Materials were better quality then what we were expecting. Very pleased.
