Whew! Putting it together was a challenge. We had it done, minus one (the last) piece but it didn’t line up and so we ended up taking it altogether apart and reassembling. Maybe we turned one of the boards (the back) around but we weren’t sure if, in fact, we did anything different but this time the alignment was perfect and the bread box is a total success. Buy this IF (1) you want a beautiful, quality bread box that will be visible in your home (2) if you have someone (preferably someone who knows their way around directions) to help/guide you because this requires four hands (3) if you have a couple to a few hours to put this together (4) and finally if you bring patience to the table and decide ahead of time to laugh at your mistakes and smile through your frustrations. It will be worth it at the end.

I am very impressed with this product. The product came unassembled but was packaged nicely with foam sheets in between the piecesthen all the pieces were wrapped together in thin plastic and sealed, then the bunch was rapped fully in thin foam and taped, then the bunch was wrapped tightly in a bubbled pouch and sealed, and finally it was placed in a cardboard box. The directions are all in english with pictures and they were easy to understand. You may need your cheaters for some of the wording, but most of it is a decent size font. Each piece is labeled, which makes it easier to find each of them without having to match the piece to the picture in the directions. The product comes with all the items needed to put it together, including a screw driver. It also came with extra screws and an extra rod/peg, so you won't have to run to the hardware store if need be. The windows are plastic, and the handles are metal. I am a mechanicaly inclined female, and it took me just a half hour to unpackage it and put it together. The only problem I had was that one of the screws on the side was stripped, so I had to add some wood glue into the hole. Other than that, this product went together smoothly without any other problems. It is very good-looking and holds all the bread that I use. I am very pleased and very happy that I bought this. This two-tier wooden breadbox is exactly what I needed! It’s the perfect size—fits multiple loaves, bagels, and even a few snacks without taking up too much counter space. Super easy to put together, and once assembled, it feels sturdy and well-made.The wood finish is beautiful and makes it look much more expensive than it actually is. It adds a warm, organized touch to my kitchen and keeps everything fresh and tucked away. I’m really happy with this purchase—practical and stylish!

We got it together, finally. My daughter and I fought with it for a while. I strongly suggest two people unless you have three hands. We had a beast of a time getting everything to fit right. Finally figured out the rear panel board had a bow in it and it would not fit into the slot and it's the last piece to put together so it was tight. Finally was able to wedge a chisel edge into it and pry the middle where it bowed while my daughter gave it a good shove down.It's together and it looks great and plenty big.

Quality materials! Great packaging. Clear instructions! So easy to assemble. I love that it came with the magnet pre-assembled as well as the door handles. It looks great! I’m in love with this breadbox!

I don’t often write reviews but this product really is a winner. Pricey, yes, but I think it’s worth every penny. It’s exactly what I was looking for to keep all the clutter off my countertop. The Acadia wood is beautiful (I almost bought the slightly cheaper white version and am so glad I didn’t). I found it easy to put together by myself but an extra pair of hands could have been helpful to hold things in place while screwing certain pieces together. I see some people complaining that the boards didn’t line up properly but I did not experience that at all. Not sure how I feel about visitors seeing all my medications stored here so may put a piece of privacy film on the plexiglass. Overall, I love it!

Bread box is sturdy and looks as pictured. The handles are chrome; match my kitchen cabinets and very stylish. Most bread boxes have plain and simple knobs as handles and the handles on this bread box set it apart from the others. The assembly directions are clear and well illustrated. I would recommend this product.
