I love this nonstick pan
We've always been opposed to the coated nonstick pans, preferring cast iron. But, I wanted to try one, and this one gets good reviews. So far, I love it (so easy to clean, and literally nothing sticks). I only give it 4 stars for durability because I don't know how long it will last. I'm thinking if you take really good care of it, it will last a long time. Also, I got the 12" one. It's big (not necessarily a bad thing, but now I'm thinking I want a 10" too ;)).

Nothing sticks to it. Even water beads off of it!
I like the non-stick and if I had to say something bad it would be the handle is a little long.

A great skillet that might be too big
There are a lot of things to love about this skillet. 1) It's large enough to handle a lot of food. 2) The handle is long enough that there's very little danger of getting burned if something splatters. 3) It's very sturdy. 4) It heats up quickly and very evenly. 5) The nonstick coating is perfectly even and probably thick enough to use metal utensils, although I never do.But there are problems, too. 1) Even though it's a 12-inch skillet, it's substantially larger than the 12-inch skillet I bought it to replace. 2) So large in fact that I can only use very small saucepans on the burner beside it and behind it on my standard size range. 3) The handle is so long that it will only fit in the dishwasher if I push the end of the handle up into the rack above it. 4) It's very heavy, even before you put anything in it. 5) The extra weight makes it necessary to remove food with a spatula or tongs or spoon instead of pouring it out over the edge the way you' might do browned hamburger meat, for example. All in all, it's a great skillet that I may have to replace anyway.

Professional is the keyword here
This is a replacement for a 7 year old exact predecessor that I used almost daily. That one had been dropped several times and the occasionally used glass lid (not included) was no longer a fit. I had also used nonstick butter spray which is not recommended as well as the occasional metal utensil (also not recommended). The fact that I replaced that one with an identical product should let you know that it is a quality product that endured abuse over a long time and kept performing. Definitely recommended.

Follow manufacturer's instructions to a T and this is a fine frying pan.
I got this for my partner. She wanted a durable fry pan. Our past coated pans all give out. I did a great deal of reading about coated pans and learned we just simply weren't taking care of it right or using it correctly. So 1) don't overheat the pan or put it on a really hot burner. Our stove goes to 10, we generally use the pan on a 4 or 5. You'll figure this out.2) bring oil up to temperature with the pan3) Don't use metal utensils4) Clean with just a rag. Don't use a scouring pad. If you must clean with abrasive use a sponge with a synthetic abrasive and don't push hard at all.5) Don't throw cold water into the hot pan. Let the pan cool down on it's own6) Soak with water if you have something particularly stuck.7) We haven't put it in the dishwasherUse it mostly for the following--eggs, chicken breast, pork loin, asparagus sauteed, stir fry string beans. So far so good after a few months of thrice (3x) daily usage.

Great quality and heavy duty contruction
Great purchase for the price. The reviews are right in that the handle is a bit long but very well made. Cooks eggs perfectly and they slide right off. No issues at all.

Lasted Two and a Half Years
This is for the 12" Fry Pan. I cook on a glass-top electric range. I found the pan to be too large for the burner to heat evenly. I believe that in order to conduct heat to outer part of the pan I tended to overheat the center. I always found it difficult to control the temperature of the cooking surface. The center is no longer non-stick and I discarded the pan. My 8" fry pan is good as new. I think I will replace this with a 10" fry pan.

Nice Quality
I thought this would be too big, but I like it and use it all the time. It has good weight without being too heavy and the handle stays cool.

Keeps on not sticking
This was recommended by The Wirecutter and I'm happy I followed their recommendation. The non-stick coating keeps on doing its job beautifully after months of regular use; just be careful not to overheat the pan and I expect it will keep its nonstick function for a long time.Construction is sturdy, the rubber handle is nice to the touch and safe, it's heavy enough to give you confidence that this is no cheap pan, but not overly heavy.Very nice product, would recommend to anyone looking for a frying pan - available in nice sizes too.

Good product - Watch out on price though
I bought this in April 2021 after using a friend's Paderno pan while staying at a cottage. Checking the Paderno out showed that they did not carry the same model anymore. This Tramontina looked identical to the Paderno. The Paderno is either two-seventy or three-seventy at CTire, and doens't even have the silicone handle. So this Tramontina seemed a bargain at around ninety-five bucks, what I paid for it here. Then, of course, I see it for thirty five dollars at c ost co.Great fry pan, buyer beware.

Good fry pan (I hope)
All the reviews said this the one, we’ll see! All that I have observed thus far, all good.
