Great quality item, absolutely perfect to hold our wedding cake. We added little legs to ours so it was like a mini table. We now have this to hold our fruit basket. Not too heavy either.

Purchased this log stand for my wedding cake as I wanted a rustic theme but also wanted a sturdy stand and this will not disappoint! The log stand comes in all different sizes so make sure to measure the cake well so you can see the log stand underneath the cake. I saw other reviews which were negative about this product but we can only give a positive review as this was perfect for our wedding. It emphasised how lovely the cake was with a rustic but modern twist to it. No nails were seen on our stand and good quality. The log stand was lightweight which was perfect for us when we were transporting lots of items to the wedding venue. Would highly recommend.

Very light, but seems strong. I have used to make a small table. Will try and update in 6 months on how performs.

Really pleased, this gave the perfect rustic look for a birthday cake and set it off beautifully. It’s very light weight which I didn’t expect and just be careful with the dark edging as this feels a little delicate. However fine to wipe down after the cake and looks good as new.

Previous reviews mention it not being wood as it’s too light and yes it’s very light but even if it’s not really wood you can’t tell & it very well could be still ( I think it’s just been well dried) either way as you can see it looks the same and makes a beautiful board stand for any country theme cake! Will defo buy again!!

It’s a decent enough piece of wood and served my purposes well. No loose chips or evidence of staples/ metal etc. Packaging was a bit rubbish; massive box with just some brown paper crudely wrapped around it but luckily was not damaged whilst in transit. The dreaded “but”… I wish I had shopped around first as I found a near enough identical wood piece in a well known craft store for a fraction of the price! So another Amazon item that has been majorly overpriced but I guess that’s my fault for not looking around first, so if you have the time, I advise others to do the same!

I sealed mine and covered it in resin to make a side table using up cycled table legs. It has a nice thickness and is great value for money but it is not real log slices. Feels very light and is a good table top. Resin table tops sold on Instagram @customcrafts60

Like it says in other reviews, it’s not a real slice of tree. It’s very light weight and has bark nailed to the sides. It does look effective and it definitely did the job for my cake - I would recommend putting a thin cake board between the cake and the wood for hygiene reasons. Every time you handle it however, tiny pieces of bark fall off so it won’t last for very long. I think the price should be a little lower for this reason.
