The Fabric Exchange LONGFUR-White-BTY

The price is very good for what you get. The fur is very soft and didn't shed horribly. The color is not as bright as it is in the picture. It is a very swamp green.

I love how long and soft the fur is. If you plan on using it for something directly against skin, it may be itchy and irritating. It feels very well made though.

I don’t know why, but from the last time I bought this it was more of a blue and it was more light but when I got it, it was dark and almost grayish. Did you guys by chance change the color over the last two or three months maybe?

UPDATE: So I'm working on furring my head and took a small test piece for shaving just to see how it shaves. It's got a very coarse and dense undercoat. As you can see, I shaved down to the backing and its about 1/2 inch of undercoat. With the black at least, you can't see through the backing even when shaved down. When shaved the black has a slightly brown vs blue appearance. The color and texture is actually very close to real fox fur. I think it will work nicely for what I need.Original review:Came packaged in the box. after unfolding there was no wrinkles or crumples. Very soft and right color, I ordered black. Arrived quickly! Very soft and has a strong backing. I've been a fursuit maker for about 4 years now and this is a very soft fur compared to a lot of furs I've used before. A little pricey since it's not actually a luxury fur like the name states. The pile is shorter than I thought it would be, which is another aspect that should decrease value/cost. Very smooth and shiny!

I’m pleased with the quality of the fabric. The texture was nice and full, the color was jet black .I used the fabric to cover a chair. Will order again.

This is NOT Shannon Fabrics Luxury Shag in case you think it is. I should have read the description better but the way its named made me think it was Shannon Luxury Shag, But anyways the review: The backing is very stiff and rough, and the fur is not very thick so you can see the backing through the fur if you part it. The fur itself inst bad, its not that soft but it looks nice. Its not rough but its just not very fluffy so it doesn't feel very soft. I honestly feel this product is high priced for the quality, you are better off with Shannon fabrics Mongolian shag or luxury shag, they are the same price range and much thicker and softer. I hope this helps someone! <3

Honestly, for what I got and the price, it's reasonable. I would recommend this to any furry making tails or a fursuit.
