Builder's Best BDB110050 Semi-Rigid Dryer Vent Kit with Close Elbow, No Size, Silver

After looking at several possible solutions to routing exhaust hose to vent pipe behind my dryer, this one seemed to be the best one given the tight clearances I had to deal with. Low and behold this item actually worked and was also the one that was most affordable! I was very pleased with the quality and value of the kit. Highly recommend!

With some modifications and it works perfectly.

I have struggled with the regular plain-jane accordion-style aluminum vent for many years now, cutting myself and swearing each time I have to remove it for proper cleaning. It was bent in several places to fit to the dryer and the wall, causing lint buildups and making cleaning difficulties. I finally had enough of it when it unravelled on the end as i was trying to put it back in place, as it only had a very tiny inch wide area to clamp onto my dryer. It was so frustrating!! I found this kit online and ordered it immediately. The preformed bent pieces fit so easily to my dryer and wall vent opening! I was able to easily (and carefully) stretch the new accordion vent pipe (i gently stretched it across my body so as not to pull on the ends and damage them) and fit it in place to clamp onto the preformed end pieces. It fit my space perfectly and was so much easier to use than the old one! The clamps held securely and were easy to tighten. I am absolutely thrilled with this purchase!

No complaints at all. A little tricky to install on your own, but that’s just the nature of this type on install in tight quarters. Great product!
