Hot Max 24208 0-10 Psi Adjustable Propane Regulator

This works perfectly for my smoker when I need to temp to range at 100 deg. Read so many forum entries recommending the 30psi model, but since I am dealing with low slow heat smoking, the 10psi works fabulously. Get used to righty tighty, lefty loosey not being the norm when adjusting your flame.

The advertised input and output threads were not as advertised. This required a trip to the hardware store to by adaptors for each end.

The threads came not as advertised. The posting and the box both state 1/4 threads on the input and 1/8 on the outlet. The threads on the supplied part were undersized. I am assuming that they were metric as I could not find a NPT or a BSPT tap that matched. I ended up rethreading the ports myself as it was faster then returning the item.

I use this in 2 ways, and it works very well for both. I use it to set the pressure low to slow cook bbq chicken. I also use it to set the pressure high to heat up a high temperature pizza oven.

Works great, and doesn't drop pressure like the auto regulators do when they think there is a leak.

The inlet and outlet threads were not even close to spec. Not only were both too small, both were not NPT but standard thread.

These are wonderful for low pressures: We use them for reducing Oxygen (40 psig) and Prropane (tank pressure < 200 psig) to 2.5 psig through 0.2 psig for very small torches! Work like a charm and remain steady. Wish we had discovered them a long time ago.

Best price out there for what I needed it for. I’m actually using it for a compressed air system, but it seems to be holding up just fine the knob allows you to dial in the pressure very accurately.

Used for a special project (not in a BBQ) but it works great and has a simple to use dial to get your desired PSI.
