Does what is expected to do and it works well and remains connected all the time with my Homey Pro 2023. Installation is very easy and battery life is probably around 2 years

Only sensors i find to work perfectly with my smartthings setup. No branded Aeotec instead of Samsung but same quality as i have both branded ones.

The smartthings / aeotec door and window sensor is on the larger size but is very reliable within my zigbee network. Taken off 1 star due to size in 2026

Bought this to provide an alert to let me know if the basement door is open when setting away mode on SmartThings and it does that reliably. As a bonus it provides the temperature.

This is a very good device. More expensive than most competitors, but maybe that’s for a reason. Recommended.

I had high hopes for these but unfortunately two of the seven sensors I bought randomly trigger as open and then remain open for several hours before randomly triggering as closed. The design of the sensor encasing is also not optimal for many situations (given the rounded services there are many circumstances where it cannot be appropriately fitted at an opening junction).

This is fundamentally a Samsung Smartthings multipurpose sensor which used to sell for £24. I have a few. Now that Samsung have stopped making Smartthings hardware Aeotec have taken over. The products are just as good but keep going up in price. They started at £30 and have now gone up to £35 for no apparent reason. This is a cracking device that Aeotect have not had to spend any money developing or improving (as yet) so why do they keep bumping up the price. You can buy a basic sonoff PIR for around £11, which isn't as good, but if the price of this PIR keeps going north it will be a no brainer. Aeotec please keep the price sensible and you will have plenty of customers, just don't price yourselves out of the market! So would I recommend or buy again? On quality and performance then certainly yes, but if this price hicking carries on.... ...well there are a lot of competitors out there.

Bought to use with Home Assistant via Hubitat. Works perfectly and stable on the network. Can be used without a contact so if you are using a garage door for example it will trigger on the wobble of the door. Highly recommended product

Ich nutze denn Sensor in Kombination mit dem Hornbach Smarthome Gateway. Der Sensor arbeitet sehr zuverlässig, bisher wurde jedes Ereignis an das Gateway übertragen und das auch sehr schnell. (Vielleicht eine Sekunde Verzögerung) Die Temperatur Information ist für mich nicht relevant, scheint von der Genauigkeit her aber zu stimmen. Habe nur wenige Reverenz Messungen gemacht, da lag der Sensor bei +- 0,3 Grad. Das sollte für die meisten Anwendungsfälle reichen. Der Schließkontakt arbeitet wie zu erwarten zuverlässig. Der Eruptionssensor funktioniert auch überraschend gut, am Fenster angebracht erkennt die zuverlässig das schlagen gegen das Fenster. Der Schwellwert zum erkennen eines Ereignisses scheint dabei gut gewählt. Einziges Manko ist das keine Möglichkeit mitgeliefert wird um den Höhenunterschied zwischen Fenster und Fensterrahmen auszugleichen. Eine Übersicht der möglichen Regel Trigger habe ich als Screenshot angefügt. Fazit: Insgesamt kann ich den Kauf des Sensors nur empfehlen. Zuverlässig und günstig.

Purchased during Prime Day sales and does what it is supposed to. Connects easily to SmartThings. Included battery has lasted 9 months and is still going strong in a door that opens 10+ times a day.

Très bon capteur zigbee qui cumule : - capteur d'ouverture pour porte, fenêtre ou autre ouvrant (placard, tiroir...) - capteur de vibration - capteur de température Avantages : Je le trouve parfait pour surveiller les ouvrants extérieurs car il permet à la fois de détecter l'effraction (vibrations) et l'ouverture (normale ou éventuellement après effraction). Le fonctionnement est bon, inclusion facile dans un réseau zigbee (Zigate), le capteur est réactif. La durée de vie de la pile est plutôt bonne, après un an d'utilisation il reste 35% de charge. Inconvénients : Un peu cher. Pile CR2450. Le capteur de température qui ne m'est pas très utile (la position du capteur influe sur la température : ouvrant extérieur froid en hiver, température plus élevée en hauteur dans la pièce...) mais pourquoi pas.

Very fast and responsive. Vibration sensor picks up on light knocking on the window frame which is good. Temp sensor measures in 0.1 increments. Home assistant integration fully working. The magnet side of the sensor does not need to be used, a small magnet is sufficient (tested with neodymium here to make sure the field was strong enough) in case you have limited space / window frame is protruding.
