Roku is the most popular streaming portal and app remote. This is probably the #1 reason people buy this thing. Very disappointing and almost scammy.

The remote is compact, connects to 2.4G Wi-Fi and can be controlled by iOS and Android devices. There are also 3rd-party apps for PC from the community.Unlike other Broadlink remotes, the device doesn't natively support air conditioner or non-media devices, but you can create a DIY device in the app to learn from any IR remote.Update: when not used for a while, it will enter sleep mode. After that the 1st IR response is slow but will be back to normal after ~5 secs.

Love this little thing. I connected it to my TV to work with Alexa. It powers on and off the tv, turns up and down the volume and will turn the stations using Alexa commands. The only thing I can't get it to do is change the input, but I am fine without that. It was easy to set up, works great and you can't beat the price of the amazing little thing.

This works well for controlling TV, stereo, cable box, and other ir devices but very limited on device choices. You can select any device type and reprogram buttons to respond to original remote, however, when using alexa, alexa will think it is the device type you selected from the list i.e. if you select device type LIGHT and use it to control a fan, alexa still thinks it is a light.

This thing sux, it barely ever works, constantly have to restart app to get it to respond, super laggy when it does, you have to program every single button on each and every remote so plan on spending hours setting up each device! cause the database really has nothing preloaded, i got my reciever to turn off but not back on, its same button???so i had to do everything manually, i have a top of the line fan... Nope, And it doesnt even have my tv brand at all, my dollar tree universal remote was beter. I have 2 high end routers on each side of the house, a new Motorola smart phone and a older samsung note 5 and a new lenovo tablet and it doesn't want to respond to any of them most the time if it does only once , so if you want to move your volume done from 75 you will make it to 74 then plan on reloading the app, also i haven't found any of the phone ir blaster apps that will work with it

Very easy to use, with Alexa works awesome!

I did order, to use it with my OLD 2014 42LY570H LGI was able to connect with option 2and enter in programming MODE + enter Commercial setup by pressing 5 times the MENU button (the 3 lines horizontally on the app)app works! but I needed more...but over all, you do not have a REMOTE very good!and another advantage you do not have to POINT your phone to the DEVICE...the connection from PHONE and remote is WIFI so you can be upside down in your bed and still works!

Setup was a it clunky. Integration to have it change input on my tv is horrible. Essentially I have to tell it to turn my device on (not really, but that’s what you need to say) to get the app to switch inputs via Alexa.Good concept just a bad app and backend support.

I got a bunch of cheap IR strip lights. With this I can control them via my smart home hub. Amazing!!

It's a good little system it's small and easy to set up to units good for the price.
