Love this espresso! On the darker side but the it’s a lovely warmth and smoothness! Highly recommend

Crema is good, going toward the optimal, but not there yet!

Compared to Miscela Masini this blend is bitter and much less flavorful. I tried various grinds using a Baratza grinder but despite a consistent thick crema the results from my Olympia Cremina machine were bland tasting with strong bitter notes. I would not purchase this blend again.

Hard to say whether the Essse coffee is good: the bag I got was stale and terrible. No fresh coffee odor, no crema. Roast date was 5/2019 and vacuum was intact. But I could tell even before opening, just from the stale odor coming out of the vacuum valve, that it was no good. I contacted the seller but they aren't particularly interested. I buy over 1 kilo of Italian espresso a week for my commercial lever espresso machine and was in the coffee business for 10 years. I know stale coffee when I smell it. Arrivederci Segafreddo.

Smooth and no bitterness. Both fine and coarse grinding for this bean renders a very good taste in mt Bialetti Moka.
