No “heat” & zero flavor
I was really disappointed in this product. Purchased this after reading the glowing reviews- just shows that everyone has a different ideas as to what “flavor” & “heat” is. I thought thus jelly (actually a jam) was way too thick, had no flavor except for the overwhelming and cloying abundance of sugar. Really, the sugar is ALL I could taste. There was ZERO heat to the jelly, and I mean it literally- no hot taste AT ALL! The texture was unpleasant and much too thick. I have no idea what this could be used for - my two jars went into trash. A very expensive disappointment indeed. Just gross.

Sweet heat, not too intense.
We found out about this product from one of the home owners at my husband’s past employment. We use this on everything!Canapés with cream cheese and hell fire spread . Also great on turkey roll ups and honestly and sandwich. On toast with butter, “to die for “ I got a couple of boxes for Christmas gifts as well. Love Jenkins Jellies, the Brava Guava fabulous too.Derek MaceStacey Gordon

Here's a new way to enjoy it
Have tried many hot pepper jellies & think this is the best! Has a good amount of heat but isn't overpowering, and terrific flavor. I was looking for a spicy marmalade (which I couldn't find) so I concocted my own: mixed Hell Fire Pepper Jelly with a good store-bought Marmalade (in equal amounts) and i's unbelievable. Great on the usual toast and crackers/cream cheese, and amazing spread on duck or chicken breasts before baking.

Very tasty
I have to admit I’m hooked on heat in Jenkins Jellies. I am from Texas, so hot stuff is an in-bred part of my my diet. . This is not as hot as “Hellfire,” but flavor wise it’s my favorite. In short, a good quality product that’s delicious on my morning toast and has a lot of other uses as a condiment. .

Not that hot and too expensive
I found a brand in my local store that is hotter than this jelly and over half the price so I won't buy this brand again.

Sure As Hellfire, The Best There Is
What do I like? Everything Jenkins' Jellies Hell Fire Pepper Jelly is the absolute best there is. The rich flavor and first sweetness brings shear pleasure with every bite. I use it to thicken sauces, add flavor to grilled foods, in PB&J sandwiches, and as a snack mixed with cream cheese on crackers. This artisanal jelly is made in a small shop, by people who care about quality. It may be a bit pricey, but it is worth every penny. My only complaint is the jars. They are too darn small. I can't get enough of this.

Tastes good, not very spicy
I've been a bit obsessed about the idea of hot jellies and jams ever since a friend of mine made me a strawberry habanero jelly from his garden one year. The mix of sweet and hot can be amazing. Fiery Figs doesn't really capture that though. It tastes good, and I don't want to disparage the product or the flavor only to say that it's not really what I was looking for. I'm definitely interested in more heat than this.

Great Taste & Texture!
First time trying this jelly, but certainly won't be my last. Got it to serve at a small holiday gathering and everyone loved it. Just the right amount of heat and sweet! Lovely, just right spreadable texture too. Great on cheese or all by its lonesome on a cracker. Try it! Think you'll love it!
