The smell!!! Just heavenly!

When I recently purchased Lakshmi incense, it was distributed via Tom's Incense. Shipping was not free for my purchase, so the price is not significantly different, in either case. It should be noted that the manufacturer of this incense (and other products that are of high quality) is Ramakrishnanda and that is who will be shipping Lakshmi at the current time.This is one of the most beautiful combinations of resins, woods, essential oils (and honey!) I've ever had the pleasure of breathing! When the package arrived, I did not have my self-igniting charcoal handy, so assembled about a teaspoonful of the contents and lit them off, adhering them one to another until I had a sort of small, resinous sculpture atop a safe thick metal burner plate. I'm not sure whether charcoal would take away from the lovely quality. I'd be inclined to break the charcoal in half, because this incense can best be described as precious and in addition to the sweet and piquant resins, there are some subtle and delicate qualities which might be lost in the heat of the charcoal. It is an INTOXICATING scent! What's more, if you are careful, you can burn the incense as I did.. without charcoal, touching a flame to it. Very meditative time I had, building this sculpture of scent.Note that although this may not seem to be a large amount for the money, the ingredients are long lasting. And I tell you it is beautiful and unique.. and I am quite fussy about fragrances! The scent made me feel wonderful. Others in the room commented: "How gorgeous..!" The people at Ramakrishnanda are quite skilled in the art of building beautiful scents!

I like the scent but it is hard to get the granules broken apart from the whole.

I like the smell a lot. Kind of pine-y.It's my 3rd jar, a staple of my resin stash. A jar lasts me a couple of years with occasional use.It's burns with a ton of smoke so i have the windows open while using it. But I have a tiny place.

Unfortunately, the scent doesn't smell natural but more like a cheap perfume.I used charcoal pellets to burn this and it created too much smoke for indoor use. We use it as mosquito repellent in our yard now and it works fine but not worth the price for that purpose.

I'd been burning this every day for about 2 months, and we had record sales for our business. The last two days, I hadn't burnt any, since I needed to find a new lighter. Our sales went from booming to almost nonexistent. I thought nothing of it, because I was simply burning it because I love the smell. This evening, our sales were at 39 for the entire day at 7pm. I decided to dig and found my lighter, lit some while I took a break. Again, this is just because I enjoy the smell. Well, low and behold, I come back down to check on sales, and we went from 39 bucks in 24 hour sales to almost 2k within a 3 hour time span-- after burning this. Holy moly- I'm almost out of this, so I'm purchasing more right now! FREAKY!

Wonderful scent smells nice throughout the entire burning doesn't smell like a brush fire at the end

Simply divine! I love the smell and I put a few into my wax warmer and the smell goes through my house. Guests have asked what cleaning products I use to make my house smell so good. That would not be odd for most people, but I do animal rescue and at any given time have a dozen cats (with litter pans) in my home at any given time. So, to have someone say that my home smells good.... even with the Noah's Ark... that says much for the incense. So, thank you for a great smelling product that last a long time.
