Feels well made
I had a plastic one of these for years. It wore out. The old one used to make lots of noise and it was hard to start. The metal ball is heavy. I don't have to get it spinning incredibly fast to get a wrist workout. I really like how quiet it is because I keep it next to my chair and use it while watching tv; it doesn't bother others as much. The outside case is solid. I think I'm going to get some grip tape because it slips around too much.Winding the ball against a spring gets it started very nicely.

Feels like a gimmick until it works
I have been playing with this for 3 days and cannot put it down. A guy I know who likes to shake hands like a jerk tried to shake hands with me this morning. He thinks it is funny to squeeze my hand and make me drop to my knees. With only three days of play I am now able to withstand his attacks and I am hopeful that I will soon have him on his knees. I don't like exercise and have never had a firm grip. This ball has changed my life. That is not as an exaggeration I am honestly feeling my confidence build as I play with this ball. Easy to start and once you get the hang of keeping it going it works everything up to the middle of your shoulder blades. Every little muscle.

Does the job
I broke my wrist and my physical therapist told me to exercise and work my wrist to make it more flexible. This has helped immensely. It helped me with my wrist rotations and flexibility, and it also helped with increasing my strength. Having my wrist immobile for almost two months did not help in muscle retention. But it has helped. I would definitely recommend this item only because it has helped me. It has helped me get my wrist with in 5-degrees of my unbroken wrists range of motion which is a great improvement from where it was when the splint came off. I did not give it 5 stars because nothing gets 5 stars.

Parallel Halo power metal Gyro ball Awesome item
I love this ball, has a solid quality feel. I had carpal tunnel surgery on both my wrists. For years I continued to have pain in both wrists following the surgery. I also found that I didn't have much of a grip. I was embarrassed to shake hands with any other men, because my handshake was not firm. After using this ball for a short time, I shook hands with a well built shoe store salesman. This salesman told me that I had quite a grip. This was well worth the purchase.

The directions don't make sense.
Use of product..to strengthen my wrist. The directions need to be simpler as I've been using this daily since it arrived and I still can't make the counter work.

Extremely well made!
I've had many gryo balls and they usually last 6 months to a year. I have a feeling this one will last much, much longer.First of all, this thing is made extremely well. It's WAY heavier than any oth the other plastic ones I have had.The self starter is by far the best feature. The work out you get with this ball is amazing as you move your arm slot. Highly recommend spending the few extra dollars on this ball. Well worth it!

This thing worked for a while then it became impossible to get it to operate again.
I've wasted my money... I can't find a way to get it repaired or refunded! Please I'd like some assistance with this... -JMZ

Wanted to use it for phsyical therapy on my wrists
It takes a lot of effort to wind up the ball. Once you've wound it up -sometimes it lasts a long time and sometimes it doesn't. Not sure I have figured out why that is. It i had it to do over I would buy a battery-powered machine as I broke both writs so I have to wind it up several times in order to get what I need.
