Compared to the original cut buddy by Josh Esnard, this is just ok to me. It is a lot thicker than the original and it doesn't lay as flat on your face as the original so the cut isn't as precise because of the thickness. This may not be a problem for some but I think it's just ok to me. This new and thicker cut buddy does have some pros though. It is more durable from drops because of the thickness and the size makes it a little more easier to handle. You can still make due with this but to me this can't touch the 1st cut buddy.

It's ok if you're cutting someone else. But trying to line up yourself it's nearly impossible to hold and cut or cut and hold straight. The angles are weird and there really no way to hold it properly but it works good for lining up another person.

The side beardline trimmer is too small it's about half the length of my beardline. That's the main reason I brought it in order to have a straight beardline
