One of the best pair of headphones you can get for under $100
The media could not be loaded. This video review is from my youtube channel. Just search /nickcapaccioThe headphones are all plastic, but don't have a flimsy feel at all. They have a solid and well made feel to them. They will fold up too, which is nice if you’re throwing these into a bag. Its matte plastic all around with a metallic grey accent on each side of the headband. The inside of the headband is lined with rubber with only a very minimal amount of padding. These don’t put much weight on the top of your head though, so the padding is enough. Each earcup will rotate and pivot, so its easy to get a good fit. Everything rotates smoothly and there is no creaking in the plastic. These headphones are pretty bulky though, and I am actually able to see them in the corner of my eyes. The leatherette ear pads have a ton of cushion and are extremely comfortable, but I’m not personally a fan of the narrow oval shape. I have larger ears so these just barely fit over my ears, they actually squish my earlobes. If you have smaller ears, it won’t be an issue, but its something to keep in mind. The cushions are so soft though, so I find them extremely comfortable to wear for hours. The closed back, over the ear design and extra cushioning do a really good job of blocking outside noise and make a very snug fit. Unfortunately, they don’t breath very well and tend to make your ears very warm. I don’t really ever sweat at all, so its not something that bothers me, but keep that in mind. Overall these headphones are very comfortable to wear. There is a good amount of clamping with the headband, but the cushions are so thick and soft that it doesn't put much pressure on your head, they are comfortable to wear over glasses as well. One thing to point out about the cushions is they show the oils from your skin real easily, this might be since there isn’t much texture to them so its just more noticeable than other cushions. The cable has a flat design and is tangle free. There is an inline 3 button remote to control playback and a mic to make voice calls. The buttons have a nice feel to them and don’t feel cheap. When it comes to using the mic, call quality was excellent. It was indistinguishable to the caller on the other end that I was using a headset and not my phone. The voice comes through loud and clear on both ends, however, since the headphones do a good job of blocking outside noise, its hard to tell if you're speaking at the correct volume or shouting. But this is one of the best mics that I’ve testedWhen it comes to the sound quality, Sennheiser did an amazing job with these. The 32 millimeter drivers and closed back design deliver rich dynamic bass while blocking outside noise. There is an emphasis on bass here, but otherwise they are very accurate. Bass is weighted and responsive. If you listen to music with deep bass, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Bass hits hard and is not boomy. The kick drum feels punchy. The bass is not overpowering here, it just has more of an impact. Pop and rock music really shines on these, everything feels more powerful without sacrificing detail in the mids or highs. These sound especially good with movies, action hits harder without drowning out the dialog. The mids have a good amount of presence and vocals are clean. There is also a good amount of detail in the highs, especially for headphones at this price. Highs are brilliant but are not fatiguing, even after long listening sessions. I prefer headphones that are a bit more bright, but that may bother only the pickier listeners. The soundstage is also surprising good, there is a nice wide, and open feel, with a good sense of depth. These can get plenty loud too, with no distortion. With the wide range of music and movies I tested these with, I was really pleased. The slight emphasis they put on the low end seems just right for my taste. It gives everything more impact without getting in the way.Although they went heavy with the plastic, they have an understated look that I really like. There’s nothing flashy about them, with a focus on good audio. They have a very durable feel and the build quality is stellar. I while I don't love the narrow oval ear cushions, I still find them very comfortable to wear for hours.

Great sound and portability.
I recently received a new headphone to test out from Amazon Vine Voices. This headphone is made by Sennheiser and it is specifically made for iPod, iPhone, and iPad.This lightweight headphone feature an around the ear design with extreme padding which will bring exceptional comfort while wearing it.The padded headband is comfortable enough that it will sit on the top of your head without bugging you. Also, the ear sections are also padded which heighten the comfort while wearing the headset. However, I have compared the size of the ear sections to another headset I own at home and they are a bit smaller than the ones I have. The main reason why I have decided to compare them is because while I tried out the Sennheiser HD 4.3-i white around the ear headphones, one side was somewhat annoying because it kept pressing on my earing. I guess my ears are not asymmetric and one is slightly bigger than the other – well the lobe part anyway. Consequently, when were these headphones one side was pressing on my lobe where my earring is and the back of the earring was hurting me. However, if you take your time to perfectly place the ear inside the headphones then it isn’t an issue. The cable is detachable and possess an inline 3-button remote control and microphone allowing the person to call and control their music for apple iOS devices. However, I was curious to see if the headphone would work with my regular computer (PC) and turns out that it does indeed work. So I am a bit at lost to the reasons why the product is specifically highlighted to be especially made for iPod, iPhone and iPad when in truth is works perfectly well for a PC computer as well. Also the first time I inserted the cable into the headset and started listening to my iPad, I thought it was odd that the sound would only come out in one ear. Turns out that after inserting the cable in the headphone, you need to twist it in order to “anchor” it. Then and only then will the sound come out in both ears. I have learned my lesson. Now concerning the sound of this headphone I must admit that I am extremely pleased with it. When listening to music, the sound is exceptionally great since the bass will come out rich and dynamic at the same time. Finally, let me highlight the fact that the headband can be folded in three so that it is easier to store it when you do not use it. Also the headset comes with a nice black storage bag which can be put in a purse or a backpack while travelling.

Excellent quality, all round.
Beautiful headphones. Great build quality and comfortable to wear, but most importantly, the sound is nigh-on perfect for my taste. There's no favouritism in the frequencies, no harshness and great dynamic range. I listen to a lot of rock and jazz and these headphones handle them without any issues. The drums snap, the guitars bite, the vocals are clean and clear and everything else just sits where it should.Highly recommended.

Wow!
I’m not a huge user of headphones and therefore don’t know a great deal about them. However, I’ve young adult children at home and they of course are more knowledgeable on the technology. My son got a pair recently and I was literally blown away by the sound quality and phenomenal bass. He absolutely adores his.I’m going for a several months stay in hospital 😢 and decided I needed a pair of headphones to help me through the time alone.I didn’t want to spend a lot, and I did look at these and think no they are too expensive. But, luckily they dropped in price and got some.I’m delighted I did, I’m going to be extremely happy for a long time with them.I prefer listening to hardcore & techno and therefore the bass sound was important. I’ve not checked them to see how they sound listening to a film through my laptop, but my son said they are great.I’ve a very small head, my son has a large head, so I was surprised at how well they fit.I realise the in thing is Bluetooth, but I don’t want something else to charge up. Nor will I be mobile enough in hospital to mess about. The closed cups are excellent too. Ive tiny ears, my son doesn’t but, again they fit us both brilliantly.Noise cancellation is phenomenal too, I cannot hear a thing when I’ve got them on. Now I know why my son never answers me, when I’m screaming up the stairs. He has an expensive pair of blue tooth ones, I don’t know the make, but he prefers to wear these ones. So, it shows it doesn’t always cost more to have something better.I’m extremely happy. Thank youNow I need to find a hard case to fit 😬

Excellent
The product arrived very quickly just in time to replace a cheap headset that I'd been using for the last two years.First impressions:The product was well packaged and immediately felt like a high quality item. The build of the headphones are excellent and they seem very sturdy.Sound:The sound quality is fantastic, they have an excellent bass to them which makes everything sound brilliant. They are very loud for my purposes and sound truly flawless.Gripes:The only one thing I do not like is the cable quality. The cable feels a little thinner than I expected and I would like a better quality lead for the money.Overall:Definitely worth the money, reasonably cheap headphones which delivers a brilliant sound. Would definitely recommend.

Just trading on a name these days?
I bought these thinking they were a quality item. I have bought Sennheiser many times in the past for myself and as presents for others. This was a birthday present to myself this time but I was so disappointed that I had to send them back – twice! With the first pair, I found the sound a bit clipped and very middling, very unlike previous Sennheisers I had owned. I also found wearing them for any length of time made my head very uncomfortable – partly from the heat generated by the contact of the pads and from the excessive pressure exerted by the headphones making it feel like my head was in a vise. However, this is not made me send the first pair back. The most annoying thing about them was the microphonic nature of the cable they came with! With every movement I made, or when I touched the inline volume controls on the cable, there was a very loud scuffling noise through the headphones obliterating whatever I was listening to. This is something I would usually associate with either cheap headphones or a defective cable. I thought it must be a defective cable (I expect better from Sennheiser than to put a cheap cable out with their products) so I decided to return the headphones and ask for a replacement. The replacement headphones arrived a day or so later but they were no better than the first pair. The cable noise was just as bad, they also seemed even tighter to wear than the first paid and the sound was nothing to write home about. I returned these too and asked for a refund. When the refund eventually arrived (which took nearly two weeks and many phone calls to Amazon), I researched and bought a paid of Avantree HS063 headphones which turned out to be everything that the Sennheisers were not. They were light, the cable was silent, they are also dual wireless and cabled, they are so comfortable to wear you tend to forget they are on and I often walk around the house forgetting to take them off. Finally, the sound is great – at least to me it is and I have been used to Sennheisers in the past if that can be considered a guage. No, I am not being paid by Avantree to say these things, but they are so much better than than the Sennheisers and at around half the price I had to speak up about them. I don't know what has happened to the quality of Sennheiser but it does not appear to be what it once was. I will not buy from them again – ever.I gave one star as I cannot give none so consider that for the aesthetics of the casing design – that looked nice.

Sennheiser has great sounds...
Sennheiser has great sounds, great design and keep background noize out quite well. And I have had Sennheiser earphones for years. My first pair lasted my almost 10 years, but I had to have the wire change 2-3 times. Normally the wire does not start to cause sounds issue as fast as this pair has. When they where about a year old, the wire begun having conection issues, it is not worse than you can more it a bit around, and then it works fine. But next time, I might get a wireless pair.
