Purchased this for my grandma's 90th birthday because she enjoys sitting out in her yard. I did put it together myself, but would say it's a two person job, at least at times. Having someone hold the frame steady while you are adding pieces would certainly make the job go more smoothly and quickly.What I like:* easy to follow directions (didn't have the cheap translation that left you wondering what they meant)* easy to put together. While it took some time, I can't give an accurate description of how long because I had the "help" of a 2 year old, and took several breaks. I would guess someone that was focused could do it in under 2 hours, less if two people were working on it.* Easy to clean fabric - sitting outside this will get dirty. It can be hosed off with little hassle.* Looks like the swings we priced at hardware stores for twice as much* The awning easily (grandma can do it with arthritic hands) tilts, so you can sit outside and block the sun at any time of day.What I don't like:The screw caps provided do not fit well, so we ended up with most of our screws still sticking out with a raw end that could scratch someone, and is a bit of an eyesore.Overall, I'd recommend the swing. I will update if the durability becomes an issue, but it felt sturdy, and we did sit on it three wide for a while.

This swing is perfect for my patio. I was able to put it together myself, but it definitely would have been easier with another set of hands. I don't need to use the canopy because I have a large tree for shade, but I may need it in the future. The only negative thing about it is it sits lower than I prefer, but other than that it's just right. Nice & sturdy, good quality... especially for the sale price that I got it for! I can't wait to spend many hours on it this Spring & Summer.

I'm going to let my husband write the review since he's the assembler in the house.On arrival, shipping box had a contact hole in it but didn't harm anything inside. Included nuts and bolts and plastic nut caps are in a blister pack and well-labeled. Used the included hex head tool but the supplied "wrench" for the nuts leaves a bit to be desired. All the nuts are the captive type, meaning there's a ring of plastic inside the nut that prevents them from loosening over time. It also means they won't rust in place if you ever need to take the swing apart. I used a socket wrench for the nuts because their included wrench wasn't worth the effort. If you go the socket wrench route, they'll be metric sizes.There will be a point or two where you're going to need a second pair of hands. One for sure is when attaching the angular legs to the overhead assembly. Speaking of the overhead assembly, ours appeared to be a little out of alignment but once everything was together it's pretty much okay. In other words, all four legs are on the ground and no wobbling.A couple of points in the wordless instructions (think IKEA) show the bolts as having an un-threaded portion. Some did, some didn't. It's together, there isn't any leftover hardware, and it didn't collapse when I did a test sitting. Always a good sign.I did, however, have to break out my drill at one point. In attaching one of the side arm rails, the holes in the seat frame had a burr on the inside of the tubing that prevented the bolt from going through all the way. I just used a comparable sized drill bit to clean the hole and it was fine then.We're looking forward to an evening swing with an adult beverage in hand...once the smoky air clears and the temps drop below 100.

I absolutely love my new swing! I love the look and love that the canopy adds a lot of shade! I think it is a wonderful product for the price. It did take me some time to put the swing together, but for the most part, the instructions were pretty clear and the box came with everything that you needed. The only thing that I had difficulty with was really tightening the screws. I needed extra help from my neighbor. But I do love my swing and I look forward to using it as much as possible!

Instructions say 30 minutes to assemble with the included tools.I took that with a grain of salt, as I should have. The connectors for the seat (to connect it to the back) were very bent, I had to use a pair of pliers to bend it back into shape enough to get the screw into the holes. The tools it came with were a joke - instead, I used a ratcheting wrench and it still took about 2 hours to build, with someone helping me hold pieces so I could screw them together... I can't imagine it going faster with the flat wrench they included.After it's assembled, it's ok. The bars that attach to the spring aren't held together by anything but the spring, and the canopy is flimsy and probably won't hold up in a strong wind. But overall, it's an OK swing that will fulfill its purpose.

The instructions were easy to follow. It is best to have assistance while putting it together, but not necessary. Everything we needed to put it together was easy to identify. Looked great once completed. Very comfortable. The weight limit is 550 lbs. Swings easily.

My husband got this for me for Mother’s Day and I love it! It was super easy to put together and instructions were easy to follow. I’m not the greatest at putting stuff together but I was able to assemble it by myself. It only took me 30-40 minutes to assemble it and just needed my husband to help tighten the screws. I would definitely recommend and it was a great price!
