Q: Can these be used in a vertical position. For example keeping the side of a sliding barn door off the baseboard?

This particular model is very light duty. I returned mine because they weren't fluid enough (didn't roll easy enough) on the surface I was using. These seem too delicate for something like a door. Maybe same style (rollerball) in a heftier version? Not sure.
