My cabinet door is 21"h by 22.5" wide. The descriptions says the hinge will only work for cabinets up the 19" tall. Would it work if I use 2 hinges?

Yes. Use two hinges. I did and it works well. Just take extra time to get the closing tension as even as possible.

Is this an exact replace,ent for a Hafele Duo flap hinge?

This was a direct replacement for the Hafele hinge on our Lance trailer upper cabinet.

Did anyone get mounting instructions with these? Doing trial fittings on my finished chest,or building a test box, is not something I want to do.

Nope, but if you search the brand name, the (German?) mfg has wordless instructions on its website. Basically it lists the various offset distances in mm depending on which configuration you use.
