Spoil yourself!
Read it in a single sitting. Exactly what I look for in a boom. I love a book that grabs your attention and moves along a good pace like this, but most of all I LOVED the character of Joe. I don't know why I'm so picky about how men are portrayed in romances, I just am, but Joe checked all the items on my list. Rachel was exactly what I look for in a main character, she is hella smart and fun and relatable, but it is Joe that really stole my heart good and quick. 5 stars, highly recommend for a fun, sizzling read one evening with a drink in your other hand. ;) Go ahead and spoil yourself, you deserve it.

I will never look at cooking spaghetti the same way again.
I will attempt to write this review with as few spoilers as possible. If you catch a spoiler I do apologize in advance. If you are a fan of stories then you know how crucial it is to have your attention grabbed within the first few moments. This book does just that. Rachel is such an interesting character. She is so easy to relate to that the reader can effortlessly see things from her perspective. I found seeing Rachel as myself while the story played out in my head and the words melted away into my own personal internal movie. The scenes came alive as my eyes quickly soaked in every word. The smells and sounds of each setting came alive the further I fell into the book. All of this and then BAM! Hottie McCoffeehouse arrives and have mercy. How can one not swoon over such a description of a tall dark and handsome man? I fell for him right alongside Rachel. To say there is sexual tension seems an understatement. I found myself wanting to scream at them to just rip each other's clothes off already. And then we have Kirby. Who doesn't wish they had a personality like Kirby? What would Kirby do indeed?I smiled, I laughed out loud, I teared up. All things I enjoy while reading. All and all it was a decent quick read and I am excited for what more is in store for Rach and Hottie McCoffeehouse

Captivating, Moving, Inspirational
As a full time wife, mother, night shift manager, and writer, I don't have to opportunity to sit down and read the way my 15 year old self would like. I purchased this book with the intent t of having something to fill those waiting periods with my favorite form of escape. What I received, beginning at page one, was so much more. I intended to read for about an hour, but this writer made sure that didnt happen. Instead, I put my own manuscript on hold to read this book in it's entirety. It was worth it.Rachel is a character with a high energy, but conservative professionalism that immediately ignites the reader's interest and desire to watch her story unfold. A driven, no-limit soldier in the publishing world, her goals are high, with her expectations higher. This character is truly motivating and represents a strong female energy that is an inspiration. The Author writes in a modern dialogue that is captivating, and without the monotone redundancy that many novels hold. I didnt feel as though I was reading a book, but rather sitting with the Author listening to her tell a well described and animated story, full of emotion. This story flows perfectly, and avoids pointless filler to increase page count. I highly recommend this book and I look forward to reading more from this Author.

Wonderful Read!
What a fun, suspenseful, and witty novel! KIRBY is fast-paced, with great characters, whip-smart dialogue, and a sizzling---yet sweet---romance. I enjoyed the author's lively take on the phone sex industry, which she wove into the story deftly (and in a non-smarmy way) to provide compelling conflict between the hero and heroine. That, and a subplot involving the publishing industry (with a wicked editor and a savvy publisher) kept me turning the pages until well past midnight. Fans of the film "Working Girl" will certainly enjoy KIRBY, as will all readers who like to start their day with a big cup of Joe. ;)

Such a cute romantic comedy!
What a fun treat! The heroine, Rachel Sirianni is fun and feisty, trying to navigate the trials and tribulations of her first job in the NYC publishing world. She soon realizes she'll need a part-time job to make ends meet while she climbs the publishing ladder - that part-time job is just hysterical.Joe Payon - her super hot hero emerges in both her 9-5 and part-time gig worlds. The latter, is pretty funny and in these evening exchanges, we get to see what Joe's intentions really are.Samantha Anne does a fabulous job developing the relationship between the two while letting the reader get a glimpse of Joe's true feelings in a very funny and creative way. It's more than telling the story from Joe's point of view. I highly recommend "Kirby." It will have you laughing over and over!
