I understand some variation in color is expected but the lamp I received was not even close to the color illustrated here. My lamp had a preponderance of orange with some very dark blue but lacked variety in the remaining colored glass used. However, when I contacted the seller, Serena D'italia... they went out of their way to make it right.I suggest you email the seller before ordering and ask about the range of colors currently available on this lamp.Quality is very good at this price point, customer service is excellent.

Lamps is larger than I thought would be, which is nice. But base is plastic that looks like metal & ceramic. Very good buy for the price. Thinking of buying a second as gift.

I purchased this lamp after reading the reviews. The lamp arrived in one piece but with instructions for an entirely different lamp. That should have been my first clue. The final product is disappointing. The quality of the lamp is shoddy and the base does not match the shade AT ALL. There are actually pieces of the soddering (or what they're calling soddering)that are coming loose from the shade. If I had purchased it as a gift, I would return it. Since I bought it for me, I don't want the hassle.

We love this lamp and ours looks exactly like the one in the picture. Someone posted 3 pics of a bluer lamp that is clearly not the same lamp. The one we received has a green base and rich warm tones in the shade. It is solid and too heavy for our cat to knock off the end table as she is prone to do with lesser lamps. Like others we thought the price seemed too low for a quality lamp but have been very impressed with what we received.
