I purchased this remote to use with a Pentax K20D & when I got it there were NO instructions. SO I want to try to help anyone else out who may not know how to use this remote with their camera. On my camera you have to change 2 different settings. The first one has to do with AUTO FOCUS. On my camera I have to push the menu button & then scroll over until I come to the "Custom" menu & hit ok. Then scroll down the Custom menu until you see "Auto Focus Remote" & switch that to "ON" & leave it like that. Now when you use your remote, it will auto focus first. Otherwise it won't & you have to look through the viewfinder & press the shutter release half way to lock focus. The 2nd setting is under the "Fn" menu & then press the up arrow to choose your "drive" mode (single, continuous, self timer, or remote). Set it to remote & choose "single, 3 sec delay, or continuous." This you will have to change every time you use the remote. It's now set & you can use it to auto focus!

I bought this after reading comment from someone on pdreview.com. The package includes: a Pentax DSLR remote control (RC), lens pen, and 5 microfiber clothes. So I decided to place my order. When the package arrived, I couldn't get it to work with my Pentax K-5. I was sure I know how to set the RC to work with my camera. Because the K-5 is my 3rd Pentax camera and I also have another cheap RC which I bought for $5 years ago to use with the Pentax. I wasn't terribly upset because for the price I paid, just the lens pen and the microfiber clothes enough to get my money worth. At first I decided not to return the package or ask for a replacement RC. But then I had noticed there is a small piece of paper written by the president of the company in the package. Mr. Michael (hope to remember his name right), the company president has pledged to make it right in case thing goes wrong, no matter how many times he'll have to do it to keep his customers happy. His writing is so polite, he asked the customers to give him a chance to fix the problem(s). Do not give his product a bad review. He'll try his baest for a 5-star rating. So I decided to send him an email. My email was sent late at night just before I went to bed. To my surprise, when I got up the next morning, I received an email from a lady who is Mr. Michael's assistant. The lady said she's assigned to help me because Mr. Michael was on a business trip. This lady said she will do her best to send me a replacement RC as soon as she can. Sure enough, I received a replacement RC from her less than a week later and the replacement RC works just fine. Five gold stars for this company customer service and for this product, and the excellent price.

I placed my order April 1st, and I received my order today, the 5th. I selected the free shipping service and it was estimated to be here between the 5th and 10th and it arrived faster than I thought from Florida to here in California. Product was exactly as I described. Incredible deal. More than your money's worth on this accessory kit. Definitely buy again from Goja. I recommend this product!The quality of the microfibers are great and seem to work good as well. The lens cleaning pen will definitely be used often. I used it for the first time today, and it worked perfectly leaving no scratches because of the soft material. The remote itself worked exactly as it's supposed to. Note to buyers of the remote, make sure you select the remote control button to use it under the option where you can select continuous shot and delay timer.

I can't beleive how cheap this kit is. I was really only interested in the remote and the brush so the micro fiber cloths are a bonus for cleaning glasses etc. Remote works as advertised, was using to do night shots and to open the shutter for light-painting from a good 20'+ away. For this price you can't afford not to have this in your camera bag! BTW I'm using this with my Pentax K-R and no issues at all, set the camera trigger to remote and fire away. No programming or anything, just go.

The device is actually smaller than how it looks in the picture - you can hide this in one hand. It's very simplistic to operate - you just need to check your DSLR manual to see how to pair any IR remote with your camera. This device uses a battery similar to the CMOS battery found in computers. This is great for remote shutter release if you want to do self portraits or want to trigger your camera while a few feet away from it.

I got this remote for my husband for our anniversary. He is more than pleased with the remote and lens cleaning items. We have gone out several times, usually for night shots, and the fact that he didn't have to touch the camera and potentially move the camera out of position is a great benifit.I ordered this remote very near to our anniversary, I procrastinated, and was worried that it would not arrive in time but Digital Goja provided very prompt shipping.I highly recommend this seller

Quick delivery, packaged well, all in good shape and all work! I do a lot of landscape photography and really needed a remote trigger to eliminate any shake. It works! Its simple! Its inexpensive! The lens cleaning materials are an added bonus. This company strives to deliver and they aim to please. Excellent return policy! But I didn't need it; which is the best return policy of all. My camera is the Pentax K5 II.

Product worked perfectly on my K-R, fast and easy to sync and a must for low-light photography. Since the K-R does not have a cable connection, remote is a must have. Excellent follow-up from the vendor, fast shipping and definitely a great price.
