Fits into standard ceramic fixtures
I bought this for my grow-out tank for the baby brown anole I rescued, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. My tank is approximately 12 inches tall and it heated the space adequately for a tropical species despite being placed in a normally sized zoomed heat fixture. It has been running continuously for about 4 months now without any noticeable fluctuations or faults.

Great!
These are perfect for getting your ambient temp up in your enclosure. I don’t need to use a thermostat with them if I have them in a regular dome instead of a mini dome

Best for homes that are generally warm
This size is best for 10 gallon tanks or if you have a nice high basking spot in your 20 gallon. It warms pretty fair, but I live in a rather cold home and I need something stronger.

Creating great heat for our gecko.
I gave it three stars for temp control because although it has a nice constant output there is no way to control the output without purchasing a digital thermostat.

Very Nice Even Heat.
This is a perfect night time heat lamp for my Bearded Dragon keeping her tank warm enough through the night so I don't have to keep the whole house at 70 degrees all night.

Don't put directly on glass
This works, and it says in the instructions not to put it on glass so I can't take it out on the suppliers, but I definitely wish someone had told me earlier. Thank god I have superglue because within an hour or so I had a decent size crack along the top of my 20 gal turned upright for my crested gecko. I don't know what would happen if you hung it above the glass instead of placing it directly over but since the heat has a hard time getting through glass, the thermostat will likely heat it up just as much while trying to get the temperature right. If you have a screen top this product should be good for you. If you have a glass top, I recommend something else. Now I'm returning mine and getting a heat pad to put on the front screen so that there will be no cracking. Hopefully that will stick on correctly and not heat up too much. I've had enough scares for today.
