Theses are rectangular sheets of fabric with a lace sewn at one end. So they bunch up around your neck instead of laying flat on your shoulders. Similar to using a sheet for a cape.

These capes and masks are exactly what my grandson has been wanting. They will provide many hours of superhero fun. I’m pleased with my purchase, and would definitely buy from this seller again. They came super fast too!

I needed one cape and mask for a super hero themed party, and couldn't find a single set for under $20. So when I saw five sets for $19.99, I expected the quality to be low, but figured I only needed it for a few hours, and could donate the other four to a local charity, so I was willing to buy. Boy was I shocked when I received heavy satin capes with fine detailed stitching, and felt masks (sounds cheap but not at all) that were reinforced, finely stitched, and with sturdy elastic bands sewn in. I expected the quality to be one time use, maybe break before the end of the party, but I am happy to be wrong! These are definitely made for longevity. I will be keeping the one I wore, and still probably donate the rest to charity just because I don't have much need of the rest, but I had to come give a review. If you're into superheros, or have kids (or adults) that like to dress up, or have a party or some other event with a superhero theme, do not hesitate to buy this set of five masks and capes. Best value for the money.
