Q: My dog has bladder problems. Would it be good for that?

I use it for my dog who goes through spontaneous incontinence when stressed by company or travel. Works well.

I would say that this item has about the thickness of a lightweight quilted jacket. When it is rolled up and in its carrying bag it is about the size of a two liter soda bottle. I have a smaller dog so have a smaller size pad and use this mainly as a mat when we go out to eat etc. Since we are in the San Diego area, there are a lot of restaurants that allow dogs in their outdoor areas and this keeps my dog from laying on the dirty ground and keeps him warm/cool enough depending on the season. It is also waterproof so it’s nice for having his bowls on it and not having to worry about it getting him wet or being a soggy wadded up mess in the bag after use. I wouldn’t say this is a travel bed by any means but perfect for the uses aforementioned and great value.
