Full Court Press: A Single Parent Sports Romance (The Hawks Series Book 1)

He fell first. The book was great I loved the characters. Landon was so patient and I loved Carson. My only critique is it needs a good editor. There were parts I was confused and had ro re-read a few times.

Full Court Press is such a well-written book. I loved the story line. The book covered so many emotions- I love it!

Loved Landon! The story was so cute and I loved how mature he was about dating a single mom. The only thing that bothered me were the numerous grammar/spelling errors in the story and in the epilogue there is a sentence that repeats back to back. Hope someone can fix those! Otherwise it’s a refreshing book and it was nice to read about basketball since most sports books are about hockey or football :)

I love this storyline and the characters. The backdrop of the basketball star and child are absolutely awesome. Very well done sequence of events. However, PLEASE EDIT!!! There are grammatical and punctuation corrections to be made on every other page, which usually doesn’t bother me, but it was to a point it was distracting. Also, the timeline is wonky if revolving around a basketball season. Suggested games in what would be September (I’m guessing here), and the epilogue needs work to take out the repetitiveness. I hope to see this one updated, because I could see myself rereading more than once!

It’s a great read quick read. Funny, cute, heartfelt and kind of spicy. Could do with another edit as it had grammatical errors throughout but overall I’d recommend it.

You don’t need to know anything about basketball to enjoy this book. Kelsi only goes to the game because she lost a bet. That one box top is a game changer. This is a fun read. My only problem was the few incorrect or misspelled words. I do understand how difficult it is to proofread a book because your mind tends to see what should be there. Autocorrect isn’t always your friend.

The story was enjoyable! Loved the HEA and the love between the Landon and Carson was great to see develop. The book would have been improved by some proofreading and editing. There were holes in the timeline and overall spelling errors/typos and grammar conventions errors throughout the book.

Sports romance is my fave. Kelsi and Landon had my heart from the beginning. Can’t wait to continue the series!

I was recommended this book off of TikTok (I know, don’t judge me). I did not think I’d get hooked onto it as quickly as I did. It made me, laugh, and cry. Such a well written book. 10/10.
