Boboli Traditional Italian PIZZA SAUCE 15oz (2 pack)

My local stores stopped carrying this Boboli pizza sauce over a year ago; I have been waiting to see if that would change as we made progress with the pandemic but alas I still can’t find it anywhere, and I’m assuming anyone who is scouring Amazon for this sauce is in the same boat. I just bought the two pack (of three pouches each) for $15; this is about double what I used to pay in store for the same amount but I love this sauce so much I figured I’d give this a try. I ordered this early March 2022 and the expiration date is early July 2022 so I’ve got a four month shelf life so I’m happy. Will update review once I cook with these if they taste different or off, but I’m optimistic they will be just as tasty as if I bought them in my local stores!

Of course, taste is always subjective, but for my taste buds, this is the best tasting sauce out there for my homemade pizzas. I have tried many others, and they have never satisfied. That's why I'm willing to track it down online and order multiple packs, since there are few grocery stores it can be found in (even though they always carry the Boboli crusts--go figure). For me, the sauce is ALWAYS the key to a great pizza, whether from a pizza shop, or made at home, and Boboli's sauce does it for me every time!

This is a great, sweet pizza sauce. I love Boboli.

i have made "pizza" using this sauce with fresh dough and its great. i have even used slices of wheat bread with this sauce and a slice of provolone cheese and a sprinkle of oregano and some pepperoni slices and broiled it in an oven for a few minutes for a quick pizza fix and its great!

This is our favorite sauce but it expired 4 days after I received the product. What’s with this? The flavor really deteriorates near or after the use by date.

I have not been able to find this sauce at my local Publix and quite some time although they have the crust. Not sure why but as usual, Amazon has it all!! We absolutely love this pizza sauce and crust!!

This pizza sauce is getting harder and harder to find in the grocery store. I was so excited to see Amazon had it available. The best pizza sauce for at-home pizza.

My wife loves this product. The stores in our area no longer carry it. I've read that some people think it is too sweet, but that's the reason she likes it. Aside from the sweetness, it has a mild, well blended flavor profile and the salt levels are just right. Traditional pizza sauces are a bit more tart and have a sharper, oregano flavor profile.
