FUN,FUN,FUN in the TUB
This is a good time. I purchased it for my one year old nephew, and he loves it. All the levels squirt water individually, and float, way cute. Now the squirts only come out of the top, so you interchange all the toys on top. The yellow guy, water looks like hair, the red boat has a yellow top that twirls, and two streams of water come out horizontally, the light blue boat can either stream like a fountain, or flip the yellow ball over it, and the ball spins and splashes water The red guy squirts streams of water horizontally. All fountains squirt between 1 inch to 4 inches high depending on which one your using, the streams are light so baby won't have water just shooting at him, and it doesn't make big splashes. It has a base that suctions to the tub to keep it stationary, or you can just let it float. And there's a big yellow button in the back (you see it in the picture just behind the light blue boat), it's the on/off switch, so it's very easy for the little ones to turn on and off. My nephew just giggles to see the water go on and off. Bright durable plastic, I see it being a bath toy for a long while. My 7 year old nephew wanted to take a bath so he could play with it (LOL). We will definitely be ordering more Yookidoo products. Very much worth the money.

Kids love it!
We received this as a gift 3 years ago when our son was born from a friend who said her kids loved it when they were younger. We didn’t open it for some time as we were waiting for him be of age to play more independently in the tub with supervision. He loved it but it began malfunctioning where it wouldn’t turn off and eventually wouldn’t turn on. We purchased him another and decided to get one for our niece. He was very excited to have a replacement and is enjoying it again during bath time.

Magical bath toy that saved bath times for our 2 year old
I cannot say enough about this toy. For whatever reason our then 20ish months old began disliking bath time. She refused to sit down in the tub and would cry through most of it. Bath time was something we dreaded. We got this toy and everything changed. She stopped crying. She loves playing with all the different components of the toy, stacking them in different ways, and she has not cried again during bath time. It is now one of her favorite activities and the fountain aspect of the toy really got her used to having some water get on her face in a fun way. She's much better about getting her face wet when we rinse her hair. She's two now and still love this toy. Some of the negative reviews could be related to how the toy could appear to be not working when you first put it in the tub. It needs some time to build up enough to have water spouting out. Just wait a little and sometimes repositioning it in the tub helps too. It has never malfunctioned on us and even if it breaks I'm definitely buying a replacement!

Update: ALMOST Best bath toy we have!! So cute and fun!!
UPDATE: I have to reduce my rating from 4 stars to 1 star, which saddens me because I still really like this toy! The power button (which is the orange circle sea animal thingy that you see in the picture) is broken already. The power button is easy to use. You push it down once and it turns it on. You push on it again and the power button pops back up and it is now turned off. The problem with mine is it won’t stay turned on. I, or my kid , has to hold it down in order for it to stay on. I was resorting to putting a rubber band on the button to hold it down but then thought twice about leaving a small rubber thing possibly floating around with my kids around. I think I will just ask for a refund :( ((I would have given this 5 stars if it hadn’t broke... the battery was still going strong for us after about 2 weeks of play)) The suctioning of the water to make the fountain effect works great especially with new batteries! I imagine it diminishes as the battery starts to die. The water fountain effect reaches all the way to the top and performs beautifully. The suction attachment is strong enough to hold but not too strong where my 2yo can not undo it by himself, so that is a plus. The 3 different boat tiers can be combined in any way. The 2 smaller attachments can also be used by itself or on top of the boat(s) in any number of combos. The configurations over the water fountain are endless (exaggeration but you get the idea). This is a great toy! Great job Yookidoo!! 👏👏👏 I’m withholding 1-star because it does use batteries (3 AAs) but I’ll give it back if the battery life is satisfactory... I will update later. So far my 3 kids (8,5,2yo) have all used it and they all love it. This toy will definitely make it into the swimming pool toy bucket too, not just for the bathtub. I probably won’t take it to beach though because I don’t want the sand to get in the water pumping feature.

So Far, So Good
I've read a few other reviews on here about the product dying out after a month or so. I've had mine for at least that long and we use it most every night. Personally, I think it is one of the coolest tub toys I've ever seen. I also have the faucet made by this particular manufacturer. There are several configurations the little ones can build to make the water spray differently. My 20 month old has his favorites. I haven't checked the battery yet to see if there were any issues with rust like some reviewers mentioned, but I'll have to make sure and do that. After the bath every night I do make sure to dry the toy out completely and always stand it up appropriately to make sure the orange ball on the top is not laying against anything. You pose the risk of turning it on and draining the battery or the motor if you aren't careful. I would definitely consider purchasing this toy as a gift, as well. My advice is, read the reviews, take care of the toy, periodically check the battery compartment and your tub fountain should have a long life.

Really unique and entertaining
I gave my son this toy for his first birthday. He and his big sisters love it. The water comes out in different ways depending on how many of the little boats are stacked. When the red one is on top, the water shoots out of the yellow part while spinning around - probably his favorite. When you take off the red boat, the water shoots straight up about 12" high (if new batteries!) It is very easy to use and my son likes playing with the separate parts even when it is not turned on. In other words, it has helped with getting him OUT of the tub without a meltdown. I just make sure he takes a part off the toy with him and he remains occupied. My only complaint is that it eats batteries, just as most toys do. Ours only lasted about 10 baths, but you can easily bump it "on" and it might have happened when we took it out of the tub.

Fun for a couple of months (updated)
My reccomendation is along the same lines as everyone else. When it works, it works great and its a lot of fun. But once it dies (which more than likely it will), then you are out the $$. I don't necessarily agree with everyone else here who says the compartment leaks. That is the first thing I looked at once I installed the batteries. I scuba dive and I notcied that there is a rubber gasket on the inside of the battery compartment. I added a little bit of O-Ring Sealant to it to make sure it held and i haven't had any leaks or water get into the compartment. However, mine just stopped working. It may be the switch, but i'm not sure. I'm going to take it apart and see what I can do to fix it. Update -- 6/30/2011 -- So it took some digging, but I was able to find the manufactuer and their email address. They are overseas, but they pointed me to their American distributor. Spoke with them through email and sure enough -- in a month they shipped me a brand new one. works great so far. Trick is to make sure that you take it out of the dub and shake all the water out of it. Plus also run the pump empty so it clears the lines. Bubble baths tend to clog it more, so I try to only use it when the tub isn't full of soap and take it out once the soap is in the water.

Amazing Bath Toy to Give as a Gift
We love this toy so much that we bought it as a present for a friend. We haven't had any of the issues that other families have had. Ours is still chugging along and it has grown with our son from 2.5 to 3.5. All of the fun options make this toy great in so many ways. Stacking the boats is great. The little surprises that each thing does when you put it on the fountain is great. The toys individually for imaginary play are awesome. It's also helpful that you can anchor the floating island to the bottom of the tub no matter how deep the water is with the included telescoping suction cup. It's great for when kids are small and can't really move around the tub too much. It's also super fun in a kiddy pool outside in the summertime. Kids just love these toys. We have given lots of Yookidoo bath toys as gifts and everyone says how much their child loves them and how much parents love the fun and stylish designs.
