I was kinda skeptical that this would work, especially with dry hair, but I’ve been seeing this technique all over social media and had to try it. I chose this product because it is real silk and not polyester satin, so it’s healthy for hair. I put it in after a shower and air drying my hair. I used my usual leave in conditioner. I used the “unicorn” technique instead of the sides technique shown in the instructions because I sleep on my stomach/sides. It was a bit loose and I think I could’ve done a better job wrapping it, but I think it takes practice. I covered the whole situation with a silk bonnet while I slept so it wouldn’t fall out. I was worried it would bother me to sleep in this, but it was surprisingly comfortable. When I woke up and took it out, the resulting curls were lovely. They stayed in all day, even through wearing a bike helmet. The curls lasted only 1 day, but my hair still looks nice the second day. Overall great product.

This is an easy way to have curls in the morning and look great! I recommend for the person that has little time and wants to look like they spend time getting ready in the morning. It takes a little bit to get used to as far as sleeping, but besides that its amazing.

Eh, I was using my bathrobe tie before I thought this is a good idea, so I bought one. Hair length, 4" above my belt, Hair type: fine. It does not have alot give so you can't get your curls to be a bit tighter, the curl it does make unfortunately doesn't stay long in mass of fine hair, as it just goes flat in an hour. Perhaps the wrap is too large for my hair type. Came in a great sheer pouch to keep all the accessories and the wrap in, silk is super soft and made well. Just didn't work for long fine hair like mine.

I had my doubts that these will work but I was impressed. First time was difficult to put since it was the first time but then I saw videos and second time was much easier. I put a roll in front from my bangs and pass the rode through the roll. I don’t use the clip that comes with the package just the bands. Then I put a satin cover on top and it does help to stay in place. First time was a bit uncomfortable since I was not used to but later you get used to it and don’t feel it and is not hard is soft. The curls look amazing and my hair looked shiny and with volume. I put a bit of spray and they did last, I took the rod around 10am and at 10 pm I did still had some curls maybe a bit more loose.I recommended especially if you want to avoid heat like me since I had bleached my hair and trying to get it again healthy.

I fought with this thing night after night. I have shoulder length hair and the product description stated it could be used for various lengths. Well, my hair NEVER stayed. Fell out constantly, no matter how hard I tried to make it as tight as possible. Also, as a side sleeper this thing was terrible to sleep on. I tried different orientations, but my hair NEVER STAYED. now it just sits in my closet.

It took a minute to figure out how to correctly wrap my hair around this, I had to watch a video online, but after that it only takes me less than 5 minutes a night and I wake up with perfect curls in the morning! The hair piece moves around a little while I’m sleeping, but I don’t notice. I also have no issues sleeping in it.My only issue with this is trying to use it with damp hair— I have naturally wavy/curly hair, so when I use this on damp hair, my hair doesn’t look as polished the next day as it still dries with the natural wave and frizz (hair is naturally frizzy) on top of the heartless curls. I have found that using it on dry, straightened or blow dryed hair works best for a polished and styled look. The curls are even more beautiful if I lightly mist my hair before wrapping it up.All in all, would definitely recommend this! Super simple and the waves/curls it produces are almost identical to what I get when I use my 1.5 inch curling iron. These curls even last longer than the iron!!

I really wanted to love this product. Before I bought this kit, I was using a couple of headbands to do a similar heatless curl method but my curls always looked a little crunchy (but they'd last all day). I bought this product thinking it would help with a smoother curl. The curls look amazing right when I take them out but never last more than 10 min (I don't brush them out either). I've only ever used the product overnight, so it should have plenty of time to set. I've tried it with my hair wet, damp, and dry, twisting super tight, loose, and in different directions, sectioning off smaller and larger portions of hair, and setting with various hairsprays, and still the curls won't last. I have naturally thick fine hair with a slight wave that has never had a struggle holding a curl so I can't figure out for the life of me why this won't work 😞On a positive note, I do use the scrunchies and hair clip pretty regularly b/c they're cute and functional, so the kit wasn't a total bust for me (just way more $ than I would have liked to spend on these products alone, hah).
