This is a beautiful alternative to everyday tile or backsplash. They are handmade and created from leftover granite remnants making them 100% solid earth friendly. When granite is split it shows the mica and quartz crystals that have been naturally built into the stones over millions of years. These recycled granite split stones can only be found in select locations throughout the United States. The stones are random lengths of 4"- 8" wide, by 1 1/4" high, by 3/8"-1/2" thick/depth. They are individual stones and easily dry stack with thinset. When you open the box it looks a little intimidating, but they are super easy to install and simply cut with a wet saw or angle grinder. They are not on a mesh backing which enables installation to be twice as fast and allows for a variety of custom blending options.
