Awesome replacement
Bought my first Pelican 2360 flashlight almost 7 years ago. Loved it. But hated having to carry around extra AA batteries because there’s no way for me to charge them in the middle of the forest.. Decided to buy the 7600 while it was on sale and boy am I impressed. About 3x brighter than my old one and I love being able to recharge it with my Nestout Solar Panel. The red light is great for discreet night ops and is plenty bright. Still SUCKS though battery life on high but on low you can run it all night and not have to worry about it dying. My only gripe: it uses an old school Micro USB. I’ve always had issues with Micro USB chargers wearing out and not working. It’s 2024 c’mon why isn’t it USB-C???? Hope it lasts. Will update review if I have any issues.

Excellent, durable light...after 4 years
Now that I've owned this light for 4 years it's time to write a review: So I purchased this light in July of 2018 and immediately put it in to heavy use. It has been used between 4 and 5 nights a week, in all kinds of weather, for the last 4 years. It has been dropped, run over, submerged, rained on, and all the above. The light still functions and has no issues. Believe it or not the red/green colored options have come in handy on many occasions, and the ability to program the white light portion was very convenient. Its sufficiently bright, and has been used for building searches as well as searching dense woods in the dead of night. I have never felt like the brightness was lacking. The USB recharge feature is awesome as well as it makes it extrmely convenient to charge on the fly and its easy to find a charger for it. The battery in its prime would last 3 10 hour shifts, and now will usually give me about 2 10 hours shifts of life as it's gotten older. All in all I am a huge fan of Pelican and this light.

A very good light
This is an excellent flashlight. It is tough as nails and has a great beam. The only thing I don't like about it is the battery has to be pelican brand for light to work right. So far I'm still using the original one though.

Don't drop this light.
I own 3 of these now. Use one in my truck, one in my wife's, and I use one in a tool box for working on aircraft. Super bright, easy to use. I don't need or use the colors so that is not a factor. Perfect size, lightweight, button works well for me, although like others I get frustrated with accidentally activating the strobe. My only complaint so far is the quality of the batteries. I have no issues with duration, BUT, don't drop this any distance to speak of. I have had two batteries cease to work after drops. They show charged, but won't work at all. This is easy to check, because if you put two CR123 batteries it lights right up. I also carry spare CR123 lithium batteries for back up if and when the rechargeable dies. It's a great option for back up power.

Great product at a great price
***Another Update 03/09/2018*** Still love the light , but the battery is not lasting as long as it use to. After using the light on high for about an hour, the light charge changes from green to yellow indicating a low charge. For anyone working graves, that’s not good. I don’t like to use the lower light output. I would recommend having a usb charger in the car in between calls/use, but that is a little inconvenient. Still a solid light and very bright. ***UPDATE 02/13/2017*** So I've been using this light for 4 months now, still works great, still holds a charge and I am happy with it. Here are MY personal complaints about the item, mind you they are minor and does not affect my desire to use this light as my primary carry. 1. I have never used the red or green lenses, they have been useless to me. What would have been helpful would be a UV light maybe when checking ID's. Just a thought.. 2. The tail-cap button is sensitive. I have a habit of just pressing it momentarily, but its momentary enough to where it cycles through the light cycles and I find myself activating the strobe feature quite often when I am only trying to activate the steady bright feature. The box included a way to program the cycles, but I would have preferred the strobe feature at the end of the cycle, not the 2nd one in. Just my personal preference. Thats it, those are my only complaints. Great job Pelican. ***ORIGINAL REVIEW** So far, this light is AMAZINGLY BRIGHT. I am a police officer and depend on my light. I have only used it about a week and so far so good. Battery lasts pretty well. I love the size of the light and how it feels in my hand. I had a much bigger light before with about the same brightness but it was a little too long and made it feel a bit awkward when holding. I also love the clip on this to stick in my pocket and transition to other items if needed. I will update the review if I encounter any problems but so far so good. I also have to give an A+ and 5 stars to Pelican for their customer service and warranty. I previously had the Pelican 7060 and the end cap cracked on me when I was running to an emergency (it fell out of its cheap holster). I contacted Pelican, they replaced my light under their lifetime warranty, and upgraded it to the NEWER Pelican 7060. I had to show them some love and buy the Pelican 7600. I also love the fact it is rechargeable. I hope the quality lasts and if so, I will never buy another $300 surefire !

Compact, tough and bright.
It is a battery hog, but it’s expected to be. Charge every two shifts depending on use. Comes with a CR123A tube for back up power in a pinch. Compact, but large enough to be gripped well. Red-green is nice for tactical situations. My only complaint is the end cap switch. The button itself if fine, but the cap design went for aesthetics and left the button exposed in the “waves” on the ring instead of featuring a full metal ring around it to prevent accidental activation. It sometimes taps up against my taser holster and turns on in my pocket. A solid ring around the end cap button would likely prevent this. Other than that, it puts full size lights to shame in half the size and is stupid bright.

Not really bright enough and there is no option to focus the beam

Had this flashlight for a year now. Bought it to replace my Pelican PM6 after 15 years. Very happy with it. Very bright on the white light at distance. The green and red LED lights are handy at night. Very convenient that you don’t need to remove the battery to recharge. I replaced the clip with a larger finger ring/clip because it’s worn on my belt on an open holster. You may find this light a little big for pocket carry. What would make the flashlight better: - USB-C charging (uses micro)

Super produit. Le changement de couleur rapide et le système de charge j'adore ! si j'avais quelque chose a dire c'est juste dommage que la puissance de la batterie soit inférieur au surefire et le changement de puissance que je trouve un peu galère.
