Feral cat loves this cat house!
I purchased this New Age cat house over a year ago and our feral cat would not go in it. Originally, I had it located close to the feeding station on our deck. So,I decided to move it further away from the feeding station closer to the house still on the deck. Still, our feral cat would not go inside, but would sit on top of it. Finally, I moved it to a location off the deck on the side of the house next to a spot where she liked to take naps. I kept the plastic door covers on the cat house because I didn’t want the rain to get in it. After a year of our feral cat, not using this cat house, I purchased a larger cat house that she went inside immediately. She would often times sit underneath the larger cat house so she had a good view and could stay dry when it rained. She used the larger cat house without a plastic door on it for about two months during the winter with the rain and snow and then suddenly something happened; it got really wet inside from all the rain and snow and mud. I had placed a small cat bed inside the larger cat house, which got really wet. I probably should’ve used the straw instead. In any case she stopped using the larger cat house and rediscovered the smaller New Age cat house. She has been using the New Age cat house for the last month every night and loves it. So the plastic doors were not an issue. She figured out how to use them. I have a self warming mat on the bottom and then straw over top. Finally, success! Great cat house, easy to assemble. My feral cat loves this house!

Great outdoor cat shelter!
This outdoor cat shelter is perfect. Very well designed and made, with excellent materials and very well packaged. Arrived in flawless condition and went together with no trouble. The composite material is terrific and the air spaces within the panels should offer some insulation. The two doors are just the right size and are in just the right places. Our feral cat started using his new house immediately. He sleeps in it at night and during the day if it is raining. We did not install the vinyl flaps yet but will use them when winter comes. The flaps attach with plastic push pins, not adhesive like the video shows. This makes them removable and reusable, a nice upgrade. Overall could not be happier with this cat shelter for our one cat. Might be a bit small for more than one cat, hard to say. Highly recommended!

Outdoor Stray Loves It!
It is fairly sturdy and easy to put together. I think it took me about 45 minutes. Could have been less if my other cat did not try to help with the process. But its easy and you don't need tools - everything is provided and directions are clear.Downside, the trim around the front door opening is a bit flimsy and it fell off when the cat bolted out one day and keeps falling off now. I'm just going to glue it down. It's fine and not a bit deal.Important part is that the outside stray kitty loves it. Took him a day or so to get used to the idea of being a home owner, but now he comes and goes strait in for a long rest. I got a kitty bed in there for him and he's happy. Plus, two exists is nice - he uses one as window to see when I'm coming out with his dinner. On sunny warm days, he uses to roof to chill.I live in a cool rainy area and and so far this house has been keeping up nicely with the weather.

A Perfect Cat House... for my Neighbor’s Dog :-(
This cat house is fantastic! It was easy to assemble, with all the parts included and clear instructions. It holds up well in the rain and even in Alabama’s occasional snowy and icy weather. I was such a proud momma when I set it up outside for my kitty. But, of course, my 17-year-old black tuxedo cat, Cole, had other ideas and refused to go inside. So, I gave it to my next-door neighbor, whose medium-sized dog loves squeezing into it. A few days later, I looked out my window and saw my cat, Cole, sleeping on top of the former cat house—the very one he wanted nothing to do with. SMH. Cats never fail to surprise me.
