Great double roof rack
Easy set up. Zero noise when left on the roof. Simple and straight forward.

Would not recommend for carbon bikes
I bought this for my all terrain carbon mountain bike. I have a small SUV and a hatchback bike rack sat too low. This roof -rack bike rack seemed perfect. The rack has a plastic "pipe clamp" like devise which locks the bike frame to the rack tower. My carbon framed bike is not pipe-like in shape but more triangular. This clamp kept slipping off the frame in transit and my expensive bike would fall sideways. Unless you bike has a pipe like frame, I would not recommend this rack

It does the job
This product is significantly cheaper than competing products and this fact is evident in the construction and ease of installation/use. That said, once installed and configured properly, it does the job well. Bikes are very securely mounted and don't wobble, wiggle, or rattle as one drives on bumpy roads.Loading bikes takes some planning as the tube grippers aren't easily bent to grab at angles. You'll need to load the bikes in opposite facing directions because the bottom bracket on the left side will block the gripper. Although I have only used this with my street bikes, it should be able to accommodate mountain bikes as well, though I would take weight into consideration or bring a stepladder with you.You may want some thick rubber padding around to wrap around the mounting points to keep the product from sliding if you have flat crossbars instead of aero bars. Also, be sure to periodically check the wingnuts for tightness and rust. If you're in a rainy/snowy climate, I wouldn't expect this to last more than a few seasons.

Great product
I am impressed with this! It is cheaper than buying 2 single mounting bikes and definitely worth the money. It is very sturdy and I feel safe hauling both bikes on top. There is a warning sign to not go over 50 mph but with hauling anything, you have to use your judgement when going around corners and rough roads. If its a smooth straight road, i feel safe going faster. Its the corners and bupoyness that will get you if your not careful. But over all i am very pleased. When not in use, i use the clamps that you clamp to the bike's main frame to clam to itsself and I have HD absolutly zero squeaking or noise!! Other reviews complain abiut this but again, use your head and common sense. Clam it to itsself and it is more snug than a bug in the rug. I have been so impressed i wanted to get another one, but we have no need for another one, its just my wife and I. And this review is after owning it for a few months and once it was installed on our RAV 4 with a roof rack, we have not taken it off since.

Beware
A little late to review but better late than never is better than not at all.I bought this unit just about 1 year ago. It was easy to install but noticed right away on a trip that the frame clamp tends work itself loose regardless of how hard you tighten it so I suggest using a bungee cord or strap to secure the bike/s.Also both tire clamps broke & had it not been for me using a strap to secure my $1k mountain bike I would have lost it in the freeway.I obviously am now in the market again for a bike rack but I will not repurchase this one nor recommend it.

Rooftop Bike Rack
Product work as advertised. Very well built , 1st time used with highway travel speeds of up to 70 , no movement. Worked perfectly.

Not too secure
Not too secure. I clamped the bike down pretty tight, but the bike still fell off of my car and dented my roof. You can make the bike rack work, but you should make sure to use a few extra bungee cords or ropes to secure the bike. The bike rack alone isn't the most secure. Other than that it was easy to install. I personally wouldn't purchase this again.

No issues, some nits
Worked well for 2 mountain bikes across several states. The rails could be 4” longer and some fasteners are rusting after a few weeks but overall gets the job done no issues at highway speeds. Mounted on aero style cross bars on a pop up camper.
