What oil are these based with?

I've bought and painted with this set, it's definitely oil; and, in the absence of any evidence to the contrary (drying time or smell), I can say with reasonable certainty that it's ordinary Linseed Oil, like most modern oil paints. The confusion with "watercolors" seems to be because (A) there's one photo showing ALL the kinds of paint Ohuhu makes -- Oils, Watercolor, Acrylics,  bottles rather than tubes of Metallic Acrylics -- and, (B), because another of the product pictures shows tubes labeled "Oil" that are, oddly, similar to their water-based tubes in having gray ends and a wrap-around color label, which I've personally never seen in real life, as the Oil tubes I got in my Ohuhu Oil set were just like the ones in all the other promotional photos for the Oil set: solid black with a splash of the color contained in the tube. I'd guess that the oddly-labeled Oil tubes shown were an earlier version of the product, that Ohuhu later replaced with their all-black design so that accidentally mixing their Oil-based paint with their Water-based paint would be much harder to do. IN SUMMARY, THE SET SOLD ON THIS PAGE IS DEFINITELY OIL PAINT, AND PROBABLY LINSEED OIL. (And, IMO, also good paint -- I've had no cause to complain at all. And they make other art supplies, likewise good.)

12 mililitros o 0.4 onzas. Se puede diluir con aceite de linaza. / 12 milliliters or 0.4 ounces. It can be diluted with linseed oil.

How long does it take to dry? Its been a month and mines still wet!

Oil paint is made to be used in layers and be blended together, however you can definitely use too much paint. That can take forever to dry. There are also clear coat sprays that can be sprayed over them. I personally love this. There are a few reasons. You can put a clear shine over them or use a non glossy one , but my favorite thing about that is it will put a barrier on the painting. This makes it so you can literally just use a swifter duster to dust it off if you hang your art which I do. Otherwise you can never tell how long the paint might stay “ tacky” with a lack of a better description. This spray dries pretty quickly and will solve the problem. I prefer the gloss. Try it out I think you’ll be happy. Good luck.
