Good product, but note Chain-Stay Angle is 66-69 Degrees
This seems to be a good replacement for my current front derailleur, however, WORTH NOTING is that the Shimano FD-M310 (as I've discovered), is available in 2 different 'chain-stay angles' - that is, it's available with either a 63-66 degree chain-stay angle or a 66-69 degree chain-stay angle. Apparently the chain-stay angle of a bike is the angle between the seat- or down-tube of the frame, and the real or imagined straight line linking the centre of the bike's 'bottom bracket' (where the pedal cranks attache to the bike) to the centre of rear wheel hub.It doesn't give this information on Amazon's listing here (or didn't when I ordered mine), but the one I've been sent is marked on the packaging as having a CHAIN-STAY ANGLE OF 66-69 DEGREES. If your're bike has a chain-stay angle quoted as 63-66 degrees this may not be suitable and may result in your bike chain rubbing against the derailleur !

Genuine product are quality products
On Amazon one often gets some of the fake Chinese copies of Shimano products. Great News!!! This is not one of them.Being an original Shimano part, it was easy and straightforward to fit. Download manual from Shimano's website.Came set to align with the big ring before removing the place holder to let the derailleur swing to the small ring position. I particularly liked the settings indicator sticker that's aids in setting the derailleur height over the large chainring.Quality product.

Good value, for everday use.
This item was as described and arrived quickly, good value for use everyday, it replaced a worn out tourney front derailleur with a low clamp and after a little set up works as expected.

Cheap And Cheerful
This is Shimano's cheap but cheerful Altus quality. Lots of pressed steel and plastic rather than alloy, but it all works brilliantly.I find that with winter use these derailleurs last about a year to eighteen months as the steel parts rust easily and begin to miss change due to seizure. Even ACf 1 could not save mine this winter. Otherwise good for the small price paid.
