A decent mini fridge - not for perfectionists or long term freezer use
So far, this Black and Decker mini fridge has been rock solid. I’ll share some thoughts on the unboxing, some gotchas, and hopefully a thing or two to help you make an informed decision on this fridge. For me it arrived well packaged: instructions were clear on removing the packing tape, which as others have mentioned is pretty much everywhere. The glass is adjustable and sturdy enough, but not super thick. The instructions state you’re supposed to set it on level 7 for fifteen to twenty minutes after you unbox, and there are some peculiar things to note reading the manual. One I found a typo in it because I was a proofreader in a past life. The bottoms are easily adjustable so the unit sits flush on the floor. I was surprised at how quiet it is. After filling it up with stuff, it seems to keep items cold enough. I set it back to level 4. If you tilt or put it on it’s side, you’re supposed to wait 24 hours before plugging it in. Similarly, if you want to reboot the fridge, that is best done over a few minute period, which is weird because as far as I know this thing doesn’t run FridgeOS. The design is somewhat weird internally with how stuff is connected: like it slightly differs from the manual in ways you don’t really notice unless you look at it head on. At the very top, It does not appear to be actually level. Likewise the back bottom left side of the unit has a little divot in the plastic. You probably won’t notice unless you look right at it but it’s a little odd. The freezer has a note in the manual that you should NOT freeze items more than 5 days or so, which surprised me. Maybe the freezer compartment doesn’t really get as cold as one would think. Overall I like this thing: it’s compact, looks nice (though isn’t actual steel on the outside) and stays cold (even to the outside). The front is magnetic, so feel free to attach whatever flair you desire to it. I was able to slide two full gallon jugs of milk after reconfiguring the shelves, so there’s a decent amount of space in there. So far so good.

Works well, sleek looking, quiet, small dent noted upon arrival
So far I like this unit. My older Sanyo fridge’s door gasket was really worn and the freezer compartment would ice-up in two weeks. It was 10 years old (or older) so I wanted something around $200 that would optimize the space o have for a large mini-fridge, be quiet-ish, and store some cans, juices and food. I use it in our man cave/second living room which now doubles as my home office. I like having space for seltzers and the kids juices as well as some food and snacks. This suits my needs very well. It’s quieter than my old fridge and I went with the gray/silver color, which looks like stainless steel. Magnets are able to work on the front as well, which is nice. The space inside is perfect and well used. I don’t love the glass shelves. They look nice enough and are easy to clean but I would’ve preferred thicker plastic-like clear shelves. Received-status: Upon receipt there was a fairly small dent in the top, back right of the fridge (shown in one of the photos with the red circle). Luckily nothing in the front where you would see it, mainly because this slides under a counter space. I was hesitant to buy any fridges listed on Amazon because they ALL seemed to have that complaint. Also there were tiny dings in the back corners of the removable glass shelves (shown in a picture, not circled in red). Nothing worth sending it back over, but still slightly annoying. The shelves did have styrofoam protectors on the left and right edges for shipment, but not at the rear - likely a cause of the dings/chips to the glass shelves. Overall the fridge is working great and got cool within 20 minutes. It was outside for a few hours and it was 68 degrees F most of the afternoon, so I was impressed it got cool so quickly. I would purchase it again, for sure. Just assume you’re likely to have some sort of dent from shipment and maybe a ding to the glass shelves. 4.5 out of 5 stars (only due to the dents and dings)

Great fridge but arrived LATE
These are super quiet and the fridge is great. But the shipping??? Delayed by several days - it shipped SOUTH to go NORTH. Crazy!! So arrived too late for what we needed. But the fridge itself is fantastic so gave it the 5 stars for that reason.

Great small refrigerator.
I like the color and the capacity of this small refrigerator. It is louder than i expected so I had to put it in the next room instead of my bedroom like i wanted but it is working out fine. Holds a lot of food/drinks/medication and even has a small ice cube tray.

won't keep beverages cold
I suppose I'll add another report to a long line of existing ones: this fridge cannot keep the temperature below 40F consistently. It also seems to be getting worse. When I first got the fridge, it kept things plenty cold. Below 32F even. But it steadily got worse, and I cranked the setting all the way to the max to compensate. That helped for a while, but it's getting warmer and warmer. I can observe this happening three different ways. First, I have a thermometer in the fridge. For the past month or so, it regularly reads 40F. Second, my beer is noticeably NOT cold. Third, water drips from the ice tray above. My "work around" lately has been to put my drinks in the ice tray compartment about 30 minutes before I want to drink them. This makes them cold, but it's annoying, obviously. It now seems to be getting worse. I'm seeing temperatures of 42F regularly now. I'm way past the 30 day return window, so I'm going to have to eat the cost. My guess is that they are shipping these units with bad compressors or low quality compressors. Because this is exactly what it looks like when a compressor slowly dies: the temperature moves steadily upward over a long period of time. It's a shame because this is an otherwise REALLY NICE fridge. I love the space inside and the compartments. It's effectively perfect in every way except for the fact that it can't keep my beer cold. What a disappointment.

Nice Fridge
As others have stated, the unit arrived with a dent in the top. It's definitely something that happened in the warehouse, because the outer box was fully intact, but the the inner packing was damaged in the same area as the dent. I knew based on other reviews that my unit would probably arrive damaged, so when it happened to me, I didn't sweat it. I just put something on top of it to mask it. Otherwise it's a nice unit. It got cold quickly and is the perfect size for my office. I'd give 5 stars if it wasn't for the dent.

A Fantastic Mini Fridge
Great Fridge. Got it for my room, and to also keep items away from nosey roommates. Had it for over 3 years and it's still going strong. Great for drinks, fruit, and other food items. Can recommend, at this point, it's stood the test of time.

Shouldve known
All the small fridge reviews have several that complain about the damage during shipping, or at least upon arrival. Mine was no different. It had a slice mark that went around the whole perimeter. Which is super sad bc it is a beautiful small fridge! I call Amazon, they explained to me that all "warehouse products" were refurbished, didn't know that, so I can't say when or how the mark happened. However they gladly refunded partial payment and I am super happy with my small Fridge. It is very quiet to run, it's larger than I expected and like I said looks very nice. I run it at full cold bc I like cold stuff but this barely freezes things. Oh ya, the freezer drip tray was also damaged upon arrival, it is warped and I can't fix that but it's ok bc I use a stand alone chest freezer next to this fridge.

Doesn't get cold
Worked fine at the beginning until it started not being cold enough to store anything but beverages.
