Harney and Sons Tropical Green Tea Capsules, 24 Count

Nice tropical smell, but I found the taste a bit too bitter. And the tropical notes were very light when I tasted it. Now it is tea, and a bit of bitter is expected. But I was looking for something that didn’t need sugar. So for me it didn’t work, but I’m sure many people would like this

The boxes came in such bad shape that I am skeptical about using the pods. They look like something that may have been opened by someone on the wrong end of the package and retuned. I have ordered these many times before and have never received packages in this shape.

I am an avid tea drinker and frequently make tea with loose tea or tea bags, but sometimes the convenience of the K-Cup is necessary for a quick cup. I must say my expectations were not through the roof for a green tea capsule but I was very pleasantly surprised by Harney and Sons Tropical Green Tea. It has a small amount of caffeine for those who are especially sensitive (like me): it's not enough to wake me up in the morning, but it's enough that I won't drink it before bed either.I am unsure exactly what blend of teas is used in this formulation, but it is very delicate and has strong fruity notes (mainly pineapple) that are pleasant though not overwhelming. The tea is very smooth and has no bitter aftertaste like some green teas are inclined to do. I am very impressed with the taste of this tea, and that it can be ready in a minute from my Keurig is compelling.I have eagerly gone through my first box of Harney and Sons Tropical Green Tea, and will be ordering more promptly. Enjoy!

Wouldn’t buy again

Harney and Sons has always been a favorite tea brand of mine. I was excited when I found out they made my favorite green tea in k-cups. The tea is super light and relaxing after a long day.

I first tried this in Newport, RI a couple years back and I've been ordering it from Amazon ever since. Nice pineapple scent and flavor. That's the only tropical fruit I taste which is fine, I prefer it that way. I've received many compliments from people when I've served it at - it's great for lunches, dinners or any get-together where you;d like to have a little "something different" to serve besides regular tea,,soda or water. I actually prefer to serve it along with fruity alcoholic drinks like a Malibu Bay Breeze, Pina Colada or Mojito so my guests can stay with a tropical fruit theme when they take a break from the booze. I usually serve it in a pitcher with ice and some simple syrup close by - add a toothpick with a pineapple chunk on it to your glasses and it's party time!

You get 2 uses out of each pod! Simply turn the pod 180° in your Coffee Maker and brew your 2nd cup!

When I purchased these the add said they were keurig compatable but they were not. The different form of the cup with the hole in the bottom causes the keurig needle Crack the cup and make a huge mess as it spills over in the keurig. Buyer beware.

Nice green tea. Worked well in the keurig.

I enjoy the smell and taste of this tea. Will buy again.
