Very tiny compared to what i am used to. Hence quite limited usefulness.

Don't buy this!
Extremely poor build quality. You'd expect the marking tool to at least be made to precision. The marking guage itself is not at 90° angle, and the brass nut is too tight, yet it doesn't lock into place.
