European Slave Trading in the Indian Ocean, 1500–1850 (Indian Ocean Studies Series) Paperback – January 1, 2015

Though the book was clearly unread and the laminated covers clean, the whole of the outer edge of the pages was covered in soot and there was a clump of something dirty at the bottom. I've brushed off what I can with a damp cloth, but it's never going to look like anything other than something found on a floor somewhere.Not the condition I'd expect a new book to arrive in.(I realise now I should have taken a photo the minute it arrived, but I didn't think to ...)
