Leaves my face feeling fresh and moisturized well. Has a very mild cooling effect, I think, and the smell is absolutely amazing. It's, as you would guess, a masculine scent, with notes of bergamot I believe. It's moderately strong in the scent, which is great for me. Super easy to use, a little goes a long way, and it's not oily at all. 5/5 stars!

Great moisturizer. Great smell.

This is for the SPF version of the moisturizer. It behaves similar to traditional sunscreen, has that sunblock smell, and spreads white on my hands. I'm relatively pale for a brown person anyway, so I don't notice a white cast on my face, but I imagine some people would. I don't feel that it is very moisturizing, but "does the job" which is enough for a one-stop sunscreen/moisturizer. It does feel greasy in the first hour or two as well. After that, skin just looks normal.By contrast, the non-SPF version is completely different. It's light, has a nice scent, and gives a nice finish. Not too occlusive and not comedogenic.

I really didn't expect much from this moisturizer. I just finished a tube from Huron & I did like it except it had a weird drying/caking effect, like the alcohol within it was drying too fast or something weird. Once the Huron dried it was perfect.But I have to say that this product from Marlowe is exceptional better than the Huron's moisturizer. It goes on light but doesn't need much for a full face & neck application. i can get away with a small pea size application & it applies perfectly all over my face & neck. Dries perfectly without any caking or weird alcohol burn off effect like the Huron & the scent is pleasant but also very light & won't get in the way of any cologne you may be wearing.Definitely will re-purchase again when time.

I really like the charcoal soap and typically don't like using anything scented anywhere on my face but thought I'd try this regardless. The smell is nice, but I should have stuck to only using scent-free products. My eyes itch and water after application, but my skin doesn't. It's a good moisturizer, but definitely need an unscented version.

I've had many so called gentle face moisturizers but Marlowe has been the very best. No skin irritation at all. Just a tiny bit of this super creamy moisturizer will go a long way. It takes a while to get through a tube if you only use on your face and neck as I do. Just received my second order and the quality is totally consistent.

Overall - no major complaints. Hydrating, nice scent, easy to apply, and fairly economical compared to Korean or Japanese equivalentsMinor complaint - still suffers from that "greasy" application feel. It's not as egregious as our mass produced US products but it still doesn't feel as light and doesn't absorb as elegantly as the Asian counterpartsThat being said, I still recommend this product for others who are wanting a nice face moisturizer
