2 1/2 x1 1/4 If applied to clean area with the cleaning pack it comes with it works well. I still have mine on the bottom left corner & put a finger in the strap & sit it basically in the palm of my hand. Worth it to me. It's tight at first but once you get your finger in it will be ok. Q: Will this work for a Z flip phone, need to bend in half to place in the middle of the back.

I would say no because the mounting strip is pretty thick and stiff. But you may be able to cut the mounting strip in half while leaving the elastic intact so you can place each half on either side of the phone without having to bend it.

Q: Is this holder magnetic?

No, it’s not. It attaches to the phone through a strong adhesive backing. It stays put and I love that it’s flat and not bulky. Also easy to slip my finger into it & securely hold my phone (especially when traveling).

Q: Does this work with the thin phone cover on?

It didn't stick to the cover that I had. I super glued the backplate to the cover but backplate didn't hold to the glue so I stuck the strap to the hardened glue and it's holding well. Lol. My only problem is that with the cover and the strap it doesn't work with the wireless charger
