Purchased for a craft project. Great value, quality products, withstood 266 °F oven. Not the easiest to cut if you want it shorter. Also not easy to bend if you want different shapes.Would purchase again.

These are great for home use like clamping parts, holding small items like stamps or holding a filter less cigarette. They are sturdy and priced right, making them a great value. They should last for many years.

Need young hands to snap these gators open. These clips are hard to snap open but does clamp tight once closed.

That lil' 'long-tail' thing is next level. I had no idea alligator clamps could feel so good!Full Disclosure: I do live under a rock and try extremely hard to avoid 'new things' etc...I think I've had the same set of 5 or 6 alligator clamps (no tail) for years... and use them for what most people use them for...... assistance soldering electrical equipment? Anyhoost, I luv these little guys.

I used the alligator clips to make decorative clips for my friends who use medical herbs. I painted the stem of the clip with gel polish and then used ribbons, laces, and beads to make dangles. Now when they use the clip there will be no more burnt fingers. The clip can be used as a purse clip or even a hair clip. The alligator clip jaws are strong but easy to pinch open. The stem is useful to keep fingers out of the way

Many of these (10-15/40) don't open and close well - the hinges aren't aligned from production or they've suffered crush damage following production.Working them a bit will allow them to close, but still with heavy resistance to the spring and lower clamping force than the undamaged ones.The wire is sturdy but there's no solder or ferrule to keep the other end from splaying which can be an issue when I try to slot them into a support base after painting. Frankly I more often reach for the clamps on the kebab stick first. I won't buy more of this design.
