So before I go any further, don't use this on a windy day or your webs won't come out right. Also, make sure you have a good connection to your compressor. Now, that being said, the webbing I did manage to do when the wind wasn't causing havoc on my attempts looked very realistic and amazing...MUCH better than those messy cotton clumps. If these get wet it doesn't affect them at all...they stick to everything I shot them at (keep back about 16+" from your target at least when you shoot them, and to clean them up, just wipe your hand over them and they come off easily without a mess. If you're a Halloween decorator like me...get this and take your decorating to the next level.

Great product. We used this on our Halloween graveyard outside. Webs look extremely real. I was able to do the entire yard with the pound of sticks I received in the package. Takes a little finesse at first, but once you get on the groove, you will be impressed! Works best on props, really makes them look like they have been sitting for years!

Used this for our haunted Halloween party. Webs come out very realistic. Will sometimes glob up on the nozzle, but it's a glue gun... it happens. Easy fix. Just hide your toes. The glue stick glows in blacklights, which gave it an extra cool effect, since we used in an area full of blacklights. I wish it would have been easier to shoot out more webbing at once. Took a while to get the effect I wanted. Pictures didn't come out good, so I didn't add one. Will be using it again next year for sure.

I REALLY wanted to like this. I wanted to make 'realistic' looking webbing for my Halloween display this year. The concept is fantastic, but the execution, at least for me, was not ideal. I followed the instructions and let the gun heat up for at least 10 minutes before starting. I fired up my compressor and connected it then put in the glue. With great anticipation I turned on the air and squeezed the trigger. A massive glob of glue dripped out then got propelled against the side of my house. OK - maybe it's just technique. I spent the next several hours and half a dozen glue sticks trying to get a fine filament of spider webbing and when I finally succeeded, I realized it would take me at least an hour to get the same kind of spider web effect that I could achieve in about 5 minutes with the grocery store ' stretch web'. To be fair, my compressor was likely not up to the task as it is a small pancake compressor. Perhaps a larger, more powerful compressor would help, but the trick is to rapidly squeeze and release the trigger with JUST ENOUGH pressure to maintain a stream of glue but even then the stream was so thin it was difficult to see against my house or plants that it needed dozens of passes to build up. This will likely be perfect for an added touch of realism or for a small area but if you are looking to webcast the front of your house it will not work.
