SUNPIE Black Motorcycle Cured Vertical Side Mount Licese Plate Tag Holder Bracket Fits All Sport Bike

This was what I was looking for. I had ordered one from Lean & Mean online and they claimed theirs was for my bike but it did not work. Hole was too small, I had to grind the hole bigger, then painted the ground area with touch up black paint, & the angle was all wrong but NOT this one. It work out perfect. I have side hard bags on mine and unlike the other one, I could get this one on and the plate is still readable from the rear. It clears the side bags as well. I was worried it would hit the side hard bags when the bike bounced up and down on bumps and the bike goes down a little because of my weight when I sit on it. The other one I had which was more expensive didn't clear and when I angled it to clear, the tag was unreadable as it was more curved than this one and pointing downwards. Other reviewers mentioned the screws weren't drilled properly and didn't line up. Mine I thought was off by a thousands of an inch but what I did was put all screws in and tightened little by little back and forth from the opposite ends and they all eventually aligned itself. It forces the curved plate to conform to the curbed bracket. Worked out and looks great at a third of the price. I hope it lasts, the other reviewers mentioned theirs broke. I tried using my strength and breaking it by hand but it held up. The hole was the right size as well and the recessed area fit the nut perfectly. Let's hope it doesn't break off, it shouldn't unless I hit something I think.

I absolutely love this license plate holder! It is GREAT! This replaces the axel spacer on whatever side you want to put it. In my case I had to grind down a little bit from the top and bottom so that it would fit... But. look really in my opinion nothing truly to gripe about my 13 year old filed down one side so if she can do it anyone can if they had too. The other thing I like about this is that you can flip the mounting plate so that the license plate is close to the wheel and acting like a drive belt or chain guard like I did or you can rotate the mounting plate to hang away from the wheel real easy. I bought another license plate holder just for the tail light ( I liked how it matched my indicator lights... ). It was easy to again modify the plate to accept the light and man I think it looks real cool. I'll be featuring this product on a future episode of my YouTube show so I can't show any pictures of it right now.

Doesn’t fit even after trying to modify it to fit. Says it fits in the description and it doesn’t. The 3 screws that hold the unit together don’t even line up let alone fitting on my axle. I tried to drill it out to fit and its STILL too thick to get the axle nut back on the bike. I’ve never left a single review on my $10,000+ Amazon purchases until this cheap license plate mount because of how trash it actually is. I would send it back but I don’t even have the energy to talk to the sellers about what’s wrong with something that’s completely wrong. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!

I bought this for my 2012 Softail Slim FLS. I didn’t like the design of typical Harley aftermarket options and their prices didn’t didn’t help. Don’t expect this to fit as is. I had to ream out the hole and mill (grind) some thickness off of the arm. The hole was too small, and the arm was too thick for the length of the bolt. I modified as needed, and painted. It looks great, and nobody else has it on a Harley.

don’t get me wrong. It’s a very nice mount but It said it’s compatible with a 1999 R1 it’s definitely not it won’t even slide over the bolt

This product is aluminium, and so is lightweight. It is also thick, making it sturdy as well. I have seen other products that are thin, cheap, the welds broke, they rusted, etc. This comes painted, as you can see, and is assembled by yours truly. Other reviews have said 'its too thick', 'no one has this much extra space on their axle', 'the hole is too big', and so on. As you can see from the pictures, a little work with an angle grinder, a drill bit, some sandpaper, and some paint, put this sturdy piece neatly on my shock mount. If any one else has any negative comments, you'd better have a damn good reason to not use one of your brain cells and figure it out. Peace.
