Ernie Ball Guitar String Windeer: This is an excellent guitar string winder. It will be especially valuable if you have a quitar collection or change guitar strings very often. It is very well made and has a lot of power and torque, I like the fact that it runs on AA battries rather than having an internal, non-replaceable battery. It is relatively inexpensive and represents a good value for the money. I recommend this unit.

Makes the job quick and easy......

This does ok for the value but I prefer my cordless screwdriver or my smaller variable speed drill. the speed here is almost too slow and the torque is not much. Probably as a precaution to keep from breaking strings. It works ok but I need a better tool for the multiple stringed instruments I deal with.

Needed this winder. It's fast and easy to use.

I dreaded changing my guitar strings. This seemed like a luxury but I bought it for myself as a Christmas present! Now it's a necessity and I don't have bloody fingers any more.

Speed

Works good on all of my guitars but does not have enough power to do my older basses even after cleaning and slightly oiling the tuners. Maybe I will try lithium batteries, IDK...
