22 inch inseam required!
I was thrilled to unpack the bike and find it well-protected, undamaged and NO parts were missing! So far, so good! The assembly is pretty straightforward but the front caliper brake is a P.O.S. and I removed it after messing with it for an hour. My grand-daughter is a tall 4 year-old and LOVES her new bike! CAVEAT: I did not see anywhere in the ad any mention of minimum leg/inseam length required to safely ride this bike. However, 22 inches is clearly stated on the outside of the box!

The bike looks amazing, is very sturdy and is so cute
My 4 year old daughter received this bike for Christmas 2014. She loves it! My husband had one of his guys at his construction company put it together and they had no problems at all. The bike looks amazing, is very sturdy and is so cute. I wanted to stay away from character theme bikes and this fit the bill perfectly!

Great "tweener" bike!
My daughter is 4 years old but is very tall (43") and the 16" bikes were too small and the 20" bikes are still too big. There are not many styles of 18" bikes...so we were lucky to find this. The bike comes partially assembled and it only took about an hour to put together. The instructions are a tad generic but most of it is intuative. The good:My daughter loves the bike and the pocket / bag in the front. She puts her stuffed animals and even the mail in there. It is girly without being a pink mess. The size is absolutely perfect and the peddles work very well. The bad:Try and try as I might I could not get the handbrake not to "stick" on the tire once it was squeezed. I tried to loosen the cable, tighten the cable, and then tighten the nut until it eventually broke. I ended up taking the whole hand brake off...the brakes by pushing the peddles back are adequate.I would have gave 5 stars if not for the handbrake...otherwise, it is a great bike for a tweener girl.

VERY well built, but a little hard for my 4 year old to pedal. She is quite tall and outgrew her tiny bike quickly. it was stolen and I did not buy another.

Poor quality
The first job I ever had was as a bike mechanic. I'm also fairly mechanically inclined. Lucky for me, you need to be when you get this bike. The first thing I noticed was the front wheel wouldn't spin freely. After digging into it a bit, I found that the axle was way too tight to allow it to spin freely. While I was at it, I took both axles apart, only to find that neither of them had any grease. If I hadn't taken them apart myself and used grease I already had, the axles would quickly get torn up and ruin the bikes usability. Besides the mechanics of it, there was numerous scratches/gouges even though the box that it came in was not beaten up. Clearly the bike was put in the shipping box already in this bad condition. Finally, the training wheels can only go up so far on the one side due to the chain guard stopping it. I ended up having to cut a chunk of the chain guard out in order to have the training wheels move up. All in all, if you purchase this bike, don't think you can just assemble it and ride. You very well may need to adjust the axle tension, grease bearings, and jimmy-rig other items in order for it work properly. If you don't have the tools/grease already then be prepared to take it into a bike shop and pay an additional fee for them to do it for you.

Couldn't be happier!
I ordered this bike for my 8 year old Grand daughter. It was easy to assemble and looked awesome. The size was one she can ride now and grow enjoying comfort. We did not use the training wheels and added a kick stand. It arrived in so quickly. Just a few days after I placed the order..all the parts were included and had simple instructions.

Beware before you buy!!!!
I don't believe I have ever written a negative review until now. I was very disappointed in this bike. After opening it I tried to attach the front wheel to the fork but was unable it. The wheel seemed wider than the fork. I felt like an idiot not being able to attach a simple wheel. Personally, I would have returned it right then but my daughter already saw it and you try taking a brand new bike away from a 5 year old. So I brought it to a bike shop and they where able to stretch the fork to fit the wheel which cost me $20. Plus, the description says it is suppose to come with a kickstand which it didn't so now I will have to buy one (they also run about $20). I also feel like the bike locks up after the peddle break is pressed. Not sure if it's suppose to be a safely thing or just crappy design but it seems pretty silly. Personally I would stay away from this bike. I wish I was able to return it.

Perfect for our 5yo daughter
Bought this for my daughter for her 5th B-Day and she LOVES IT!! Her old bike was a 12" but was way too small for her. I was afraid that she would outgrow a 16" by the end of the season so we went with the 18" and I'm glad!! Training wheels were perfect and she will be riding without them in no time I am sure...
