It’s very bright!
These are extremely bright bulbs, I’ve given 4* as far too bright for an open light bulb - it’s blinding! Ideal if you want lots of light! Replaced with a lower lumen bulb, but will keep these for a future project

Not long life. Disappointing.
Don't believe the promise of 25,000 hours. One bulb failed within 12 months and the other after 2 years - only used in sitting room for a few hours a day max. Disappointing.

These were purchased for an Anglepoise 1227 desklamp. After the original bulb expired, it was replaced with a heavy E27 bulb that stopped the lamp from being able to hold its position, which was very frustrating (it also took a while to realise the weight of the bulb was the problem).The size of the bulb is larger than anticipated, and it does protrude below the bottom of the shade; it also has an orangey glow. Both of these factors are fine, and are of less significance than the fact that the lamp head can now be moved to a position and will stay there!
